I was intrigued by the fact that diving Silfra was ratred as #1 outdoor activity in Iceland, and all Iceland guide books mentioned diving here.
Preparation - changing into dry suits, getting gears and some safety briefing - was done outdoor so be prepared for weather.

James was a superb guide and I would recommend this experience to anyone in Reykjavik wanting to get outdoors and try something good new whilst pushing (some of) their driving skills
So if you are coming to Iceland and staying in Reykjavik and would like to participate in an outdoor adventure through a company with heart , energy and vibrancy call Safari.

We spent a little less time at some of the outdoor spots since it was very rainy and windy, but we got a few back road stories and stopped an extra place (indoor) that more than made up for it.
It made the difference between having a great time and a not-so-great time on what is largely an outdoor tour.

Definitely a DONT MISS if you want a less-touristy outdoor activity with super-nice people and gorgeous scenery!
Early October 2015, Bayou City Outdoors made a trek to Iceland and Viking Horses was one of the many highlights of the trip.

A tip would be to wear base layers and socks because if not you will be stripping off to your underwear in the great outdoors!
