What travellers are saying
- jbg74Saint Paul, MN833 contributionsI love the views from the train of the Oresund when crossing between Copenhagen and Malmo. On the Swedish side there is a park nearby with walking trails and a great view of the bridge too.Written 12 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- jbg74Saint Paul, MN833 contributionsThis is a great little square to have a meal and/or drinks while doing a short daytrip from Copenhagen. It is 30-40 minutes from Copenhagen by train and then a five minute walk from the main train station in Malmo.Written 12 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- G2KpaulyMelbourne, Australia1,450 contributionsI walked around this park on a cold rainy day. It didn't seem like the nicest park I've seen but it was nice to take some photos.Written 14 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- The Weak Knee TravelerSingapore, Singapore11,767 contributionsThis is probably the tallest burning in Sweden and is uniquely designed with a "twist". Worth taking a look when in Malmo.Written 7 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- jbg74Saint Paul, MN833 contributionsThis was a fun little local museum. There are a half dozen historic planes and a couple dozen historic cars, motorcycles, and motorized bicycles here. There is a Swedish military submarine outside and some maritime exhibits too. It doesn't take too long to see. The ticket covers this museum and the on at the Malmohus castle.Written 12 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- WarbyBicester, UK3,275 contributionsLooks nice from a distance and just gets bigger and bigger. Large old church with fabulous character inside and out. So much to see even if you are like me and not really into church’sWritten 3 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Les G14 contributionsI was absolutely amazed by the library- I’m a volunteer at a library in the UK so I went to see what this library was like, I was gobsmacked(an English expression!)
The children’s section is especially impressive with books in a wide range of languages and lots of areas to just sit and read/relax.
We went on a Sunday too - you can’t do that in Uk libraries. We went back a couple of days later for tea and cake on the cafeteria.
A brilliant facility and really something for the people of Malmo to be proud of.Written 7 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - The_Coach55Ruislip, UK773 contributionsThe castle is situated adjacent to a large park and is around a mile from Central station on foot.
I paid 40 SEK for admission which also entitled me to free entry to the nearby Technology and Maritime museum.
The castle rooms were adorned with many paintings of numerous Swedish monarchs but I believe few of them ever visited the castle.
I enjoyed the recreation of prison cells but the most interesting aspect of the place was the role it played in housing refugees who had managed to escape Nazi tyranny at the end of the war.
These fortunate people were transported to Malmö via a fleet of white VW ambulances and several of their moving stories are on display.Written 4 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Torbjorn JHollviken, Sweden12 contributionsIncredible what people can eat. The tasting experience was interesting. Our grandson tasted more or less everything except the hot stuff.Written 20 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Walter FTas16 contributionsA nice way to walk around town and do some window shopping and sightseeing. Old buildings and the streets are wide that you won’t cause a problem if you stop to take photosWritten 26 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Marek BradáčLiberec, Czech Republic38 contributionsIt's interesting, but be carefull - you can easily miss it, as the gun is very small. Anyway walking down the whole area is greatWritten 22 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- zuvBucharest, Romania23,242 contributionsA building with a very nice architecture placed in Stortorget, a central square of Malmo. Unfortunately, it’s not opened for visitors so you can admire it only from outside.Written 18 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- The Weak Knee TravelerSingapore, Singapore11,767 contributionsVisited this place during winter and it was quiet and nice to take a stroll. Good for those with pets as well as there's lots of open space.Written 7 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
