Been to Brugge a couple of times now and this is probably my favourite shop in the city, it has a fantastic selection of beer and glasses and the staff are also very helpful and friendly.
A great place to pick up some of the less common Belgian brews and you can also buy the associated branded stemware or other brewery/brewing related items for many brands.

The shop’s manager Anne is a lover and expert in lace, and unlike the numerous lace shops around Bruges, only sells handmade lace-both new and antique.
There are a lot of other lace shops in Brugge on the tourist streets and they have some cool stuff, but in this shop you could feel the heritage, history, and skill required to make these beautiful pieces of funct...

Besides that the service was friendly and welcoming, the shop immaculate, and the presentation-box fun in bright red with gold tinted foil separating the layers.
There are plenty of chocolate shops in Bruges as you might expect but Julie's is the place to go.

There are some fun people working here; a wonderful little older lady helped pick out my chocolates; she gave a truffle filled with dark chocolate ganache that had a little alcoholic kick to it.

We stumbled on this chocolate shop, but immediately appreciated the friendliness, professionalism and expertise of the store owner and chocolate maker.
We found this amazing chocolate shop down a quieter street having been unable to find dairy-free options for myself and my son in a few other shops.

Part of me wants this place to get all the recognition it deserves, and it is the oldest chocolate shop in Bruges, yet part of me wants it to remain a slightly hidden gem!
If you are thinking of giving your family something from Belgium it has to be a chocolate, and the best place to buy from is this place really you will feel it once you enter the shop, it’s bit expensive but well...

Plenty of other chocolate shops available of course but this one is worth taking a little detour trip due to its prices and service!
After drooling in the windows of the other more centrally located shops, Lucy dragged me off to a shop she remembered from a few years ago.

There is always a huge selection of beers and you can spend some time in the museum, where everything is for sale!
Good to browse and really look first and try to mentally compare prices with other shops.

A selection of chocolates from the shop across the street is served with the drinks - these were equally scrumptious so we visited over there as well.

Lovely sweet shop with a unique, homemade selection of marzipan, chocolate, and other delights.
We did a free walking tour and our guide told us to only buy chocolate in Belgium from a properly certified chocolatier which displays a certain sign, so we went hunting for this and found Brown Sugar.
