Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's a steep climb up, but you get rewarded with great views over the city and the river...the citadel itself seems neglected though, nothing to visit there...just go for the workout and the view

I had relatively low expectations, based on the reviews I had read. Still the permanent collection had some very nice and interesting paintings. obviously not the most famous pieces but still quite worthwhile.

Although it is not the main church of Luik, this one is at least as pretty, but probably prettier than the St paul. Especially the roof is amazing. A very good place to enjoy piece and quietness.

August 2016: I was really curious about this place. The aquarium part was really nice, but the animal part of the museum was a bit overwhelming. There were a lot of stuffed animals, most of them I had never seen before. If your around, you should take a look.

This museum has a standard collection with some masterpieces (Ensor!). We visited the temporary exposition of Warholl. Well done. Friedly staff.

In a city in complete chaos with unending constructions and other museums closed this museum comes as a pleasant surprise.
Modern and very well designed it displays countless items of the passed and recent mores of Liege

A great museum to visit if you're in the area and have an interest in transport. The museum is very well set out and based in an old tram shed which adds extra ambience.

People from all over the province and even the Netherlands come to visit the multi cultural market. On sunny days people walk shoulder to shoulder.
You 'll find food, cloths, live animals, jewelry and electronic stalls.
Don't go there if you dislike crowds.

One of the places I liked the most to photograph in Liege. The golden details look beautiful when it is sunny and then there is a contrast with the green dome of the church on the other side, this church looks like the St Sava Temple in Belgrade, really interesting. It is pretty close to the train station so check it out.

Impressive to find yourself 2000 years earlier by just going down a couple of stairs! The site is big and well explained, with several levels. Very interesting.

Mediacité is a multi-story shopping mall, not far from the city centre of Liege.
Over 100 shops (including supermarkets, Primark) and restaurants.
A real disadvantage is the expensive car park (up to € 15 for a day).

The puppet museum is the essence of Liège. See a show (in French or Wallon (french dialect)). Older than Punch and Judy and very unusual.

Very good food for a reasonable price. The service was very friendly and timely. I recommend to take the local meatballs.

Unfortunately early in April the trees hadn' t had any leaves yet and the whole scenery was like autumn or winter, There is also a pond with ducks and birds. Later in spring I believe that it will be a beautiful park.
