Highly recommended if you know you love spending time visiting museums, and Micropia can t be missed.
As all the museums in the Netherlands this is also very interesting, interactive and fun!

A free, informative audio guide is included and you are free to wander the house as you like and take non-flash photographs to your heart's desire, unlike the Van Gogh or Anne Frank museums.
This house where Rembrandt lived and worked is really worth seeing - his studio, paintings and living rooms are so atmospheric and give a much more intimate feel to the larger museums.

Amsterdam with its marvelous museums, comfortable restaurants, ease of getting around, by walking or taking the trams, and ever friendly residents to offer directions and recommendations, is a most amiable city.
I'd recommend to anyone who has an interest in history, especially as a compliment to the Anne Frank house or other Holocaust museums.

As with many museums in Amsterdam, The Hermitage is quite interesting with many examples of art works by local artists of the 18th and 19th centuries.

The high grade I gave is because of the ticket combination offered - in 15 Euros you buy a ticket to 4 museums dealing with the Jewish history and culture.
Very well to be combined with a visit to the Verzetsmuseum, the Holocaust Museum and Artis Zoo, all within a 3 minute walk from each other, including the Auschwitch Monument.

We have been here before and to other Holocaust museums around the world including Yad Vashem.
It's in the Jewish Quarter and your entrance ticket admits you to the 3 museums there.
