It was also more extensive than other boat tours that I've done because they took us to areas I hadn't seen before.

This was a great day and I highly recommend Rory for one of the best tours I've done!
We are now back from our trip and having tried various other walking tours along our adventure and I can wholeheartedly say that Rory's tour tops all!

Have had a few visitors coming to see me in Amsterdam during my short placement here so I've been in a few different canal boat tours, and honestly this is the best, most relaxing and enjoyable tour.
Much more intimate and comfortable than the normal canal tours on big boats, but for a similar price.

This was my second visit to Amsterdam in 10 years and this time I and a group of travellers took part in a customised two day Black Heritage tour with Jennifer Tosh founder of Black Heritage Amsterdam Tours.
I only spent two and a half days in Amsterdam and I wish I had planned to be there longer so I could have taken one of Jennifer’s canal tours and also visited the sites listed in her book.

I've been on a ton of free walking tours so usually I'm pretty picky, but Monique was a really excellent guide who took us on an excellent, sunny tour of Amsterdam.
We have done a lot of free walking tours in various cities and find them the best way to get a good overview of the city in a nice informal way.

We did both these tours, the first being the daytime free walking tour which was fascinating and a must-do in any new city!! Lisa was brilliant, so so knowledgeable, fun, engaging etc.
Just want to congratulate SANDEMANs tours since I spent a very great time in both mentioned tours, I highly recommend to look up for "Jaco" the city guide, he's doing an excellent job and is very funny.

He then proceeded to serve our cakes and prepare our drinks whilst telling us the history of the building - it's only 2m 2cm wide, (a narrower house is pointed out on the canal tours but that is just one entrance...
We were given a little tour of the shop downstairs before heading up and were given a short history of the house itself.

I would highly recommend doing the private tour or any of the tour that the RDL Amsterdam Tour Agency offers and its a for the price of the tours are well justified and I would recommend taking a tour with them.
There are a lot of guided tours around the Red Light District (RLD), but this is the only one which lets you talk to a real active sex worker and ask her any questions you like.

Sonja is also very open about her life and the hardships she faced and wants all her tours for people to ask her whatever they wish to know.

It was a bargain at 9 euros as opposed to the other tours I did (11-16 euros) Highly Recommend!!!
With many canal tours on offer near Amsterdam Centraal station me and my wife opted for this one as it was very competitively priced at €9 it cost nearly half as much as many of the others.

We have the 'pleasure' of two other walking tours whilst we were in Amsterdam, and Geert was far and away the best guide of the three :-D Thanks Geert - Ruth and I loved it!
I must say that today’s tour with Geert was really interesting and fun, and I sure hope that all guided tours are as interactive and entertaining cause I am planning on repeating the experience.

The Open Boat Tours are in smaller boats compared to the much larger enclosed boats you see everywhere.
There are plenty of different companies offering different types of tours.
