Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Whilst a previous reviewer may be correct in pointing out that lots of places are loads on Sunday, if you aren't interested in shopping then this shouldn't be too much of an issue. There are plenty of interesting things to see in this town which are open on Sunday, such as the churches. And you can admire the beautiful green buildings!

This garden has a really great view of Bern city. It's definitely worth visiting if you are in Bern. Also, the walk in the garden was lovely.

We went only to the Einstein portion of this museum but enjoyed it very much. It was free entrance with our Susie pass.

The Bern Minster contains many interesting architectural and artistic features. The stained glass windows are very intricate!

The river flows from west to east into Bern. Forming the famous U-shaped form around the city. Great experience to walk over some of the bridges.

Okay, I have read the reviews about this museum, but I happen to love any museum, and Paul Klee’s work is one of my favorites. They have plenty of it on exhibit in the downstairs exhibition. I am not a big fan of Chaplain, but the way this show is put together reflects some real mastery in curating. The tie between the two great masters is obvious in the exhibit. The Bauhaus exhibit upstairs is rather large, as the movement was global. Just as much thought was put into the multimedia displays as there was with downstairs. Plan on spending hours in this gallery if you want to truly take it all in. Worth the 20 francs.

The seat of Swiss power is pretty royal-looking, situated at the UNESCO World Heritage Site designated downtown of the Swiss capital. The view of the city from the back of the building is also a sight to behold. Don't miss it!

Unfortunately I didn't have time to take a tour inside since I went late afternoon, and there was a climate protest in front of the capitol when I visited.

Before going there I thought we would be walking near the bears. But in fact, people can stand on the bridge overlooking the Bear park and look at the bears, or they can use stairs to get down to the river side and watch the bears above. It was nice and intresting, especially if you have young kids.

Very different museum which the whole family would love. It is so eclectic with the collection it has that there is something for everyone. I was bit expecting much it very much enjoyed this museum. I spent much longer than I had expected. Even the special show on communication was brilliant with the stories told, the displays of types of communication and the fax message into an app. Well done to this museum and staff.
