Annalisa was a wonderful tour guide and the tour was great! The food was good. Portions were enough for a big meal. We learned so much about Palermo and its history. We’re so glad we took this tour! Wonderful memories of our leader and group!

Marco is a gifted chef and teacher. Gives first class direction, clear cooking instructions (even for the less talented!) and left us wanting more. We will definitely seek him out when next in Palermo.

The no mafia tour was very informative and provided a great historical context for the mafia movement in Sicily. Our tour guide was from one of the well known mafia cities and helped explain how they continued to control the island beyond what many people believe from movies/tv. Proceeds from the tour go to supporting businesses and communities to ensure they can succeed without the help of the mafia.

Elena was friendly, knowledgeable, interesting. It's clear she enjoys her job. She answered every question, made sure we each could hear and understand.

We were fortunate enough to have been paired with Federico on a fascinating three hour private walking tour of beautiful Palermo. He has a wealth of knowledge of this wonderful city’s history and seemed to know every nook and cranny of this Sicilian gem. One of Federico’s attributes is his calm approach. He got in touch with us as soon as we booked the tour and asked whether we had any special interests. He showed up at our hotel on time and gave us a choice of whether we wanted to return to our hotel at the end of the tour or if we wanted to end elsewhere I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you, Federico!

Our guide Angelo was exceptional. He had a great sense of humor, much enthusiasm& knew so many people including most of the vendors in both the Capo & Vucciria Markets. The foods he shared with us were both unique to Palermo & delicious. He also shared some local history & color along the way. Our group included two Canadian couples, an English couple & us a U S couple, so our varying travel histories gave us a pleasant dynamic for Angelo to work with. It was a superb introduction to Palermo.

It was a really amazing evening, we have learned a lot and the food was so delicious. Special thanks to Alice and Francesco for helping with the parking situation. We enjoyed the time a lot. They created an atmosphere as we would have meet friends.

Emma was amazing. Bright and cheerful, she told us stories and history of the area around Via Vitorio Emanuele and the food that we tried in that vicinity. She checked each of the individuals re: their preferences, and accommodated when needed. On the main street, in the back alleys, and in the crowded market place, she kept track of us all, pulled us aside so we could hear. Mostly, she fed us so well, we went without dinner tonight! Looking forward to our next “secret tour” in Venice in a couple of weeks.

The palazzo was beautiful and had many interesting antiquities. Our guide who was a family member and actually lived there was engaging and informative. Would recommend this to anyone who likes history.

This was the highlight of our trip. Michael was wonderful and so informative. The food was incredible. It felt more like being with friends than with an instructor. If anything, I would have liked a little time to shop for our own food. But that is nothing bad. If you have any mobility issues, know there were 50-ish tight steps to climb.

Family Business. Extremely personable staff and welcoming as it was our first time on the Palermo Port. We met Angela with no problem and she and her son Alberto made the best effort to give us the best sunset evening by the Queen’s Cave which turned out to be the most beautiful part of our trip. We ate really yummy street food, and even learned a Sicilian Salute! Highly Recommend Palermo Experiences/Boat Tour (even in March)!!

The most impressive place on our trip to Sicily. The best preserved temples outside Greece. So interesting to see, try to learn something about it before coming to Agrigento. Got the feeling that you are for the moment back 2000 years and feel the life in that time. Nice to see whether you are in school or retired!!
