- AllboyznogirlzTampa, FL33 contributionsBooked this Culurgiones pasta class and it was fantastic! The environment was warm and inviting, great conversation and tons of laughs. We learned the art of rolling out the dough just right, using the pasta roller and how to tuck the pasta. It was delicious! They also provided wine, mirto and sweets. As a bonus we learned how to make ravioli with the Culurgiones filing. Tour guide was super friendly and informative. Spoilt with some Prosecco, music and good vibes. - Alessio C201 contributionsI was part of a group with 3 others and we had an excellent 2 hour plus guided tour of the Castello district with Raffaela Carrus of ARASOLÈ. She was excellent, a lady of great culture and knowledge. She has great Sardinian pride but also know how to connect the dots and provide exceptional intercultural experiences. I must say that my visit to Cagliari was enriched by thai visit and when i am back i will look forward to doing other tours with her. - Joy GNew York City, NY11 contributionsOur tour guide Francesca was very accommodating and relaxing, even while giving us a very thorough tour of the old city. Given that we had some physical limitations, she recommended stopping for tea after a steep climb, which was lovely. It was very low stress and somehow she kept us on track timewise. She knew so much about Cagliari and answered our hundreds of questions with ease - including personal ones about her family who lived locally for generations. We most enjoyed seeing the fortress towers and the Villanova section of town with plants and flowers lining the narrow streets. - ChrisR5517 contributionsI must admit we approached this excursion with some reticence. However, we ended up having an absolutely fantastic time. Our 'skipper' Johnny was amazing. He assisted us in changing our time (we saw the wind was coming up later in the afternoon), he happily (and with great humour) proudly gave us some history about the areas we visited, and generally made everyone feel safe and relaxed. We also had great weather, saw the dolphins, had many laughs and saw the islands beauty from another perspective. What a wealth of information from a very intelligent person. Thank you a brilliant and entertaining afternoon. We were blessed with Magical Weather (which Alberto claims is always the same!!!) I do think he could be correct. And the most incredible conversations throughout our journey. Thankyou Alberto. - Cindy G5 contributionsWe had a very relaxing day with Franco. He met us exactly where he said he would. He was very accommodating since my husband wasn’t so mobile walking with a cane. Visiting the vineyard was like meeting old friends. Definitely made wonderful memories.
