What travellers are saying
- PeteFredericksburg, VA1,367 contributionsI did get the feeling of wealth of the Venetian Republic circa 1450. We had an outstanding tour guide who really knew some intricate details. My favorite was the main legislature hall where Tintoretto’s Paradisio can be found. We saw the Financial Hall, the Armory and judicial halls that took in complaints from the mouth of a figure on an outside wall. It was a learned experience.Written 12 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Marcia C140 contributionsThis was a perfect location to take beautiful memorable photos. The best time is right after sunrise and before the crowds. Definitely make an effort to take in the sights and sounds.Written 10 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. you can light up a candle and pray in the Church, and from the terrace you can see Piazza san Marco in all its splendor.Written 5 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had a glass if wine, a cola and a non alcoholic cocktail. The cocktail, although possibly a bit more than some places (18e), was larger than some places we have visited. You also get crisps and nuts with your drinks. In the end we decided to have a pizza as well and sat watching the world go by. The waiters were very friendly and chatty. It all came to 57euros. Which considering we could spend that easily in some other restaurants and we had to do this at least once.Written 12 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HighlandLass24Baltimore, MD280 contributionsWe bought timed tickets to let us in at a certain time. Some technical glitch happened with the turnstile where you scan the tickets and it wasn't working. At that point, things became utterly nonsensical, as we had our tickets printed, with our time clearly visible and they wouldn't let us in and we had to wait. Fine, but then when the turnstile was working again, a bunch of the walk ins were let in before us despite our timed tickets, so that was a bit frustrating. We went in the hot sticky summer months, so there was some haze that dimished the view, but it was still worth it. Plus, the breeze you get up there is such a nice cool off from the oppressive heat.Written 9 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marcia C140 contributionsThis is a must while in Venice. It isn't a huge site, but it is full of history and beauty. It is a self-guided audio tour that will take your breath away. Get there early and pre-purchasing your tickets is recommended.Written 4 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PAWCarolRainham, UK58 contributionsReally beautiful but busy bridge, due to the shops on it. Best seen from the canal. Would recommend going early morning/early evening as less tourists who are on a 'day trip' will be there.Written 21 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I was there on a very rainy day, which worked out great because I took my time. First floor is very simple, second floor is jaw dropping. There is an admission fee to get in which I did not see listed anywhere in my research, but it was reasonable and worth it.
At the back of the second floor is a table covered in mirrors. I realized those are for tourists to use to get a better view of the ceiling without getting a sore neck!!Written 21 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was helpful to have it along as we walked around to make sure that we didn’t miss anything. It also gave us the name or artist of each artwork. Several pieces also had signs in both Italian and English with additional information.Written 4 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - hasti gTehran, Iran293 contributions* the most luxury shopping center in Venice, in 4 floor. Expensive prices even in sale.
* Escalator is available to go up and elevators both to go up and down, there are some spaces and chairs to sit and rest, food and drinks are available in entrance, your internet work well there, you can take your pet in. Not very busy.
* it’s not only a shopping center but also a beautiful exhibition in such a historical atmosphere.
You can find all famous and known brands there. Woman’s and man’s fashion, jewelry, beauty, watches, gourmet, gifts, … and also event pavilion and terrace.Written 1 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
