What travellers are saying
- WaterloonieSanta Barbara, CA1,626 contributionsDefinitely worth a visit if you're in town. Beautiful symmetry in an X shape instead of cross-shaped. Not too ornately decorated.Written 8 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Trippi65Lugano, Switzerland108 contributionsit is our favorite beach - wild - long and no umbrella renting. the way down and up is challenging - the less you carry - the better it is - good shoes are recommended although there are people with flip flops
very disappointing the restaurant - not for the food which is acceptable- but for all the plastics they started to use - awful! a year ago they still served in ceramic plates - now just one way plastic - a big step backwards what a pity and what a shame.
Fun is putting on the body the loam which you find at the end on the left of the beach watching the water (called also il trave)

- Dominique G18 contributionsI visited this with one friend and we guided each other while wearing the sleeping mask and trying to guess what the statues represented. It was an amazing experience for me not only because of the great art, but also because of the different feeling of feeling the art.

The entrance lead directly to the new part, ie new floor, simple alter, above the old original floor. There were glass panels in the floor to see the original part below. Then I went downstairs to look around the old flooring where the mosaics were exposed.
It was a brief tour but it was wonderful to walk almost in the footsteps of worshippers from centuries before.
