Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The trip was great. After a couple of days of a lot of walking this trip was awesome. A long restful bus ride through the south of Italy and then a leisurely walk through Positano on the Amalfi Coast was beautiful. Onto Pompeii where we walked the same streets of those so long ago. We learned and saw so much. Our guide Antonino was friendly and knowledgeable. He was a great guide. The bus driver Romeo was also great in maneuvering the bus along the coast!

Fabrizio is a fantastic guide!! He ensures everyone is well taken care of and accounted for. He provided lots of great information and laughs along the very long day. I also greatly appreciate Giovanni, the sweet driver.
I took this trip with a friend and it was a day well spent! Bagnoregio was truly a highlight - I was not expecting it to be such a sight. Orvieto was also nice - we didn't have nearly enough time there.

What I did not like about the tour was the winery. The entire experience was rushed! We were taken down to see the cellar but we were barely told about the history, vineyards, production, or different wines. We had gone on a similar trip the day before and had a much better experience in every way at the other winery. The food was good, though, and we were able to try quite a bit. The older woman (owner) ripped me off in the shop. She charged me 40 euro for 2 glasses of wine and a truffle "salsa" .. we then visited a store that had the same truffle salsa for 10 euro. I was extremely disappointed by that.

If you want a really unique view of the best sights Rome has to offer, this is the tour for you. Beatrice added such great insight to the history we learned visiting these locations during the day. But she also took us to the hidden vistas and views to capture the best nighttime imagery of all the historical landmarks, lit up in spectacular fashion. Her vehicle is pristine and driving was safe in this Roman city that feels more like a race track at times. Her historical knowledge and archeological experience provided more depth than any other guide we engaged.

Our family of 5 had a brilliant time. Jonathan our guide was excellent, he was funny and knowledgeable and we all learnt so much. He had great tips and tricks as well about both the places on our tour as well as more generally on Rome and Italy.
Pompei was great and although we didn't have a long time our guide Lilia was able to avoid the masses of people and take us to quieter areas as well as show us the more popular things. She was also very knowledgeable.
Our pizza lunch was so yummy and helped fuel us up to the top of Vesuvius which was a hard slog but totally worth it. The views of both the crater and off to the bay of Naples were fantastic, such a great experience and again Jonathan was a great guide who answered all our questions.
Thank you for a great experience, we would highly recommend!!

Jessica was an amazing tour guide! She made everything so easy and provide a ton of knowledge of Florence. She was so kind and patient with our group. It was nice to get a balance of sightseeing in Florence and also the winery + sightseeing in San Gimignano. It was a nice family owned winery with a meal provided. The vans provided for transportation were super nice and comfortable. Definitely recommend this experience to anyone!

We had a great time and it was clear our tour guides really loved not only history but archeology! The transit and transitions between stops also went very smoothly and our guides were kind, funny, and knowledgeable!

We booked this tour months in avance , with confirmation by tour operator twice by messaging , there’s always a chance of cancellation for various reasons, we get that , we didn’t expect to get cancelled at 8:30 pm by phone the night before our tour date, allowing us no time to find an alternative tour.

The bus tour is an okay way to see the highlights of Rome, and we enjoyed it overall. Unfortunately, the day we went, some bus stops were changed due to road work, which wasn’t the operator’s fault, but it did affect what we could see. One minor issue was the audio commentary. The first bus, which seemed older, had great commentary, but the second (newer) bus had almost none, which was disappointing. Still, a decent way to explore the city, especially if you’re short on time.

The tour guide Julia was amazing. Enjoyed the coach ride and boat trip, thoroughly enjoyed it! Positano was beautiful and picturesque! Had Limoncello in Amalfi Coast with lovely seafood. It made my holiday trip to Rome worthwhile, it was a nice break from the busyness of Rome, highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful time with Rolando in Rome. We scheduled a pick up less than 24 hours in advance and were so impressed and thankful that he could accommodate us. We weren’t sure exactly what we wanted to see, so we told him our “definite” sights and he was so knowledgeable and helpful getting us to see the as many amazing things as possible. He helped us find food, coffee, and navigate restrooms and crowded areas like the Colosseum with ease. Pick up was easy, right off the cruise port - especially if you share contact information when booking. We learned and saw so much - traveled with a mixed group of elderly, middle aged, and adults. Very worth every penny… and then some! Thanks, Rolando!

My wife and I joined this tour and really enjoyed it. Giuseppe our guide was welcoming and funny but wanted us to enjoy the day. He was great. At the Villas Guiseppe gave us great insight and history. Only criticism is I’d have loved another 45 mins there to explore. But that’s me. After that we went to Tivoli for lunch. We had Wine, ravioli and pork slices, and bruschetta. A delicate meal and nice. If you enjoy big meals this will disappoint but I had enough. Only criticism was the time to serve but the positive of that was getting to know the other tourists on our tour. After that was a tour to Villa D’est. that was something I wasn’t expecting but very beautiful gardens and water features with a treat in store if you are there around 230pm. Something I had not expected. Just a gem hidden in the hills of Tivoli. All up a great day had and thnx to our guide Giuseppe.
