This Vespa tour was my favorite thing I did in Italy! There were three total Vespas on the tour: two couples, their guides, and me (solo) and my guide.
It was thrilling and exhilarating to zip around the crazy Rome traffic. A completely different view of the city than most people get. We stopped at many of the major sites and our guide provided us with a great history of everything we saw. There were plenty of opportunities to take photos - my favorite is of me posed on the Vespa with the Colesseum in the background. The guides took us to a hill top overlooking the entire city which seemed to be a hidden gem - most of the people up there were locals just going about their day, very few tourists.
At the end, we stopped for a glass of wine, coffee, or gelato as part of the included cost of the tour.
I was in the sidecar of the Vespa. Provided to you is a helmet and a protective hair net (like a shower cap) to protect your hair while wearing the helmet. There's no seatbelt in the sidecar, which surprised me, so hold on!
My guide, Stefano, was amazing!
I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. It was incredible! Do not miss out. 15/10
