Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Lucie BMalnate, Italy11 contributionsA very beutifull cave, you can go inside with a guided tour, and admire the cristal formation. Walking on the side of a sutterain river. An awsome experience in Abruzzo.Written 14 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Trilingual2007London, UK95 contributionsBeautiful lake where to spend an entire day relaxing and swimming. There are several points along the lake where to stop on little beaches or to rent pedal boats, with many restaurants too.Written 24 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MadgnatsKenai, AK96 contributionsThe highlight of one week in Abruzzo. Traveling by car you enjoy a variety of vistas including rocky valleys, jagged mountains, rolling plains, free ranging horses, sheep and cattle. Each turn in the road offers a different view and type of landscape. Clouds billow above and below, trees grow in densely wooded forests on one side of the mountain, and sharp rocky crags make up the back side, open hills and boulders dot the landscape. The end destination of the trip is an observatory and a hotel from World War II era. The trip is a beautiful rest from the busy cities and offers many opportunities for photos and just enjoying nature. Strongly recommend.Written 20 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- G.B.871 contributions...an excellent place to spend a pleasant break, in couple or family. It's possible to stop for a bite to eat (perhaps taking a sandwich or a coffee at the bar) but, most importantly, at a very low price you can access the reserve with the most competent (and at the same time funny) guide that I have the pleasure of hearing for a long time. You will have the opportunity to get close to the animals and even feed them! In addition, the guide will tell you several little known things (try asking how the selection of the alpha male takes place...).
In short, you will spend a few hours having fun in contact with nature.Written 11 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Only negative issue was the lady at the counter who behaved very very rudely to us and to other customers.Written 29 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - franketchesonOakville, Canada3 contributionsI keep going back to the Gran Sasso, it is different every time and a magical place from the wild horses on the plains to the hotel that housed Mussolini.
This mountain is spectacular.Written 5 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The whole walk took 2 hours and at the end, we walked back to the starting point on the road for 20 mins. We stopped by the Caramanico town for a quick lunch - highly recommended!Written 24 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SaschaprahaChisinau District, Moldova340 contributionsThis is just to warm you. Even the leaflet of the Val FondĂllo it self mentions the wrong Opi and the wrong postal code! Tripadvisers is also mistaken.
Take the Ă“pi near the village
