Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked the arena tour. It gives you twenty minutes. We bought tickets from the official site at 18 euros pp. this was plenty and you had access to the other sites.

This is without doubt the best building in Rome.
It was built in 129 AD and it is in amazing condition, From the colossal bronze doors to the beautiful well colour
co ordinated interior it smacks of class.
The dome itself with its central hole is breathtaking and worth the entrance fee alone.
If ever you’re in Rome this is a must see.

This place is somewhat magic and is already famous by itself but has become world wide well-known thanks to the great Fellini movie "La Dolce Vita" starring Anita Eckberg and Marcello Mastroianni. Just a pleasure to egt there for real where the famous scene of the movie took place. This is the forward.
But the backward is that the place is really packed, tourism is a pollution by itself, you can enjoy the picture and the scenery provided you do not watch all people around.

Best view of the city, wouldn’t bother about Boboli gardens as the view from the Michel Angelo plaza is crazy good. Didn’t get there for the sunrise or sunset but put it on your list.

Gorgeous! We learned about its history including Michelangelo’s La Pietà, which was sculpted when the maestro was only 24 years old.
St. Peter’s Basilica, is one of the biggest and most important churches in the world for the Catholic church. When you enter inside you get amazed at the beautiful architecture and the art that is showcased inside.

Many huge walls are mosaic walls but you wont realize it until you go up close.

Sculptures are so huge and made with marble like stone with such precision and originality that you just cant stop looking at it. You will get tired taking pics, but no picture can justify the beauty that your eyes see.

Since 1877 this beautiful "shopping mall" attracts people from all over the world.

Outstanding details to admire , from the floor to the iron&glass roof.

    Some expensive shops/cafés/restaurants.

    Very (over)crowded.

One more our wishlist full filed as we entered beautiful Venice.Yes, we really enjoyed seeing Venice from the gondola and hearing about the city from our knowledgeable gondolier. This listing header says the Canal Grande, but the gondola tours are typically in the network of smaller canals, passing under bridges so low the gondolier has to bend in half to get through. It's amazing that life connections are dependent on canals! It's a new world for we earthy people who are away from water world...

This is first class. Unlike Palermo,Catania and several more this is very tidy,no garbage,no graffiti,no grime just nice. Compared to some other places in Sicily you think you are in another country. Be careful if you consult Facebook Sicily travel sites. They control/ delete any comments or posts and some attack you with great intensity if you dare bring up the subject of garbage or filth in Sicily. This subset of Syracuse does it right so why can't the rest of Sicily? If you must go to Catania stay here and take a day trip. It is like a ghetto. Syracuse looks ok also but not as clean as this.

Our trip to Mount Etna was truly unforgettable. The landscape are otherworldly, with a mix of volcanic craters, black lava fields, and breathtaking views

We went here in July with our teenage daughter and friend just for a few hours. We just booked the tower because that was all they were interested in. It was great, the access is straight forward and you climb the tower. One big suggestion don’t forget to put your bag in the storage lockers by the toilets as they are not allowed up the tower. The view was spectacular and you can stay up for hours if you want.

We parked at the free parking and walked into Pisa only a 10 minute walk super easy

Located in the midst of the flea market, the entrance was tucked away behind the facade of stores selling leather goods and jewellery. The market was less than crowded and it was not a challenge to settle down. We tried the beef brisket and the roasted chicken from different vendors, both with a side of potatoes and salad. The brisket was mouthwatering, with a nice char to it. The chicken was juicy and tender. We finished the meal with gelato, an italian staple. Overall the food was delectable and appetising.

It’s unbelivable to see temples 2500 years old and preserved in such a beautiful nature setting.
I would definitely recommend to take a transfer from the parking to the top of the Valle and then continue downhill in sneakers not sandals.
Be sure of closing time (last entrance at 7 pm). It’s beautiful to see sunset there.
Prepare yourself before arrival with facts of Magna Graecia or book a guided tour to experience all better. It takes 1,5 hour or 2.
