Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Bought tickets directly from coop website for underground English guided tour and money well spent. Bring IDs to be checked by the entrance guides to prevent scalpers. Just be there 10 minutes before your timed tickets to be ushered to the meeting point. Underground tour was magnificent, lasting about 45 mins, then go up to arena floor and then upper floors. Total time 1.5 hours. Not to be missed in Roma.

My wife visited Rome few month ago and entrance to the Pantheon was free. Now it’s 5 euro for adults. It’s worth it. I can’t stop being amazed by the skills and materials selection of the construction specialists of those times. Fantastic.

Tip: there might be 2 or three lanes for the tickets, one is in the building itself - it’s smaller than the one to the electronic ticket booth. Use it.

That was my main target to visit in Rome. Of course i dropped a coin in the water. It was still crowded even in November, however we managed to do good photos and videos.

We visited St Peter’s Square and saw the very long queue for the basilica. We joined and was surprised that it only took us 40 minutes to get to the security and entrance.
It is absolutely jaw dropping inside and stunning. It was so big it did not feel crowded. We decided to walk the 551 steps to the top of the dome. The entry to the basilica is free but to climb the dome it’s 8 Euro to climb all the stairs and 10 Euro to do lift and stairs. You need to be healthy and like confined spaces. At the half way point you can walk around the inside of the dome. I would not recommend doing this on a hot day.
Also outside on the hour they do a changing of the guard that was interesting to watch. This was to the left of the entrance down the steps.
Signage for tourists could be improved as we had to ask where to get the dome tickets.

Taxis are available and I would recommend it. It is a hike to get to the top. It is touristy but there is a wonderful view of Florence. Go at sunset. Look for the lower level with a garden and table service to enjoy a beverage, a seat and the view.

Water taxis are busy with tourists but definetely a must do in Venice. You can see the pretty canal, boats, gondolas and all the beautiful buildings from the taxi vantage point. Venice is such a picturesque city from the Canal grande. The price is 80$ for 30mins around.

Sunday it was full of people but on weekdays, it was pretty empty towards end of day. Nice place for pictures, St Mark Bacilica was glorious, EU3 to enter, no queue at all. Christmas tree is up here as well.

This museum is a must-see for anyone interested in Ancient Egypt. A free audio tour is available via QR code, so bring your ear buds/headphones. There is an amazing number of exhibits, and signage is in Italian and English. The visit starts with a history of the museum, explaining how these artifacts came to Italy, before the start of the exhibits. Also, there is a very convenient cafe with excellent paninis, bagels etc, which provided a much-needed break during our four-hour visit.

Full of tourists but actually not a pleasant area in which to sit. Just two large lines of people waiting to get into the cathedral or up the tower

Make sure you go to the car park at the far end, it makes more sense with more stalls there. It's a fantastic site with a low cost. The most complete Greek temple is really good. However all the Temples are very good. Decent Cafes on the route too.
