Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Wander8137335 contributionsThis was truly an awesome experience.... I celebrated my 30ish birthday last month in Madrid with friends and family and decided to do a wine tour. Did some research and found Bodega Quebel and Carlos and Estrella did not disappoint! They treated us like family they haven't seen in years. On arrival, we were welcomed with hugs and kisses. Carlos gave us a tour of the land and the views were Amazing! We saw almond trees and actually ate from them. We ate grapes right off the vines. During the tour, one of us mentioned olives and Carlos told us that there was a great place in the local town that processed and sold olives. After touring the land, he took us to the shop!!! We sampled the olives and met the owner and his son. The olives and pickled garlic we ate….. TO DIE FOR. We ended the tour with the wine tasting with Estrella, which was AMAZING. This woman KNOWS wine. We learned sooooo much from Carlos and his wife. I cannot stress what a wonderful experience this was for me and my friends. We will definitely visit again if in Madrid.
XOXO

Find a spot at the bar, consume large quantities of high quality and reasonably priced wine and watch the world pass you by in the chaos that is mercado San Miguel. The staff at Pinkleton are great...nothing too much trouble and to say we spent a large percentage of the budget there doesn't come close !!!Written 5 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - OldjackGreater Melbourne, Australia29,237 contributionsNot classy at all but Bodegas Rosell, the Spanish version of an English pub had some atmosphere. Located not far from Atocha station it served okay food with a fairly rough style of service and good for a little fun.Written 20 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
