Going to botanical gardens during various trips is something we definitely do a lot. So we also ended up at the one in Barcelona. And I'd say it is definitely worth doing that.
There are 3 different routes that lead you through the garden, I'd recommend doing all 3 of them starting with the biggest one and taking a detour through one of the side ways every now and then. This way you nicely cover the entire area properly and get to see all they have. May also was a good time to come here since a lot of plants are blossoming right now too.
Additionally there were 2 exhibitions in the building at the highest point of the garden area. One was about bees and quite interesting. There everything was also labeled in English whereas in the outside area you only find signs in local language.

Park de Cervantes is a medium size park in the city. Wonderful park to relax (it really quiet and not overcrowded), sit down on a bench under the pergola or shade of the trees and let zen come to you. The park has plants shrubberies surrounded by green hedges, trees, bushes, plants and lots of different roses. It's delighting for your eyes as well as for your nose

If you are interested in plants and want to escape the crowds, this is a good place to go. The gardens are divided up into geographical zones. Most plants are well labelled and main points have information about them in Spanish, Catalan and English.
It’s on a hill, but concrete paths make it accessible for wheelchair use although you’ll need a very energetic pusher!
The temporary exhibition about bees was very interesting. There are good views over the whole city.
There is not much shade if you need to avoid the sun in the hotter months, but there are plenty of drinking water points dotted around. HOWEVER, this location is really lacking in toilets. There are some at the entrance (not clean enough, but…) but the others, at the other extremity of the gardens, were closed when we visited. It also really needs a decent cafe / shop. There are just vending machines for drinks / snacks. It’s a great opportunity missed as the location cries out for them and lack of them is a downer at the end of what otherwise could be a fabulous visit.

Beautiful sloped and terraced garden on Montjuic mountain, with nice views, beautiful architecture and quiet places.

One of the quieter, huge and most impressive set of Gardens in Barcelona. The waterfall fountain that flows down towards Avenue Montanyans is simply stunning. The Palace Albéniz is the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family during their stay in Catalonia. Sadly it's not open to the general public except on I think one day a year.

Beautiful gardens and definitely worth visiting if around the Montjuic area.

Barcelona surprised us again! What a sight! We came to the top of this mountain by cable car. After passing the castle, we reached this beautiful view from the ship dock. On the other side, go through the trees and you can see the beautiful view of the sea.

The park is up the stairs next to the Park Guell concierge. The climb is very difficult and the view is breathtaking!!!!!

This is a lovely little urban oasis! It is the site of the historic Medieval Hospital de la Santa Creu de Barcelona, a tapas bar, La Capella Museum, a large civic library founded in 1807, and in the northern end of the courtyard, the most beautiful old grove of Orange trees (ripe oranges were literally falling from the trees as I walked through here). Worth exploring.

Not exactly the prettiest park I have seen in Barcelona, but this one is kind of neat, good place to place some basketball, or see the Torre de les Aigues. I kind of stumbled thru the park to get a view of the tower!

You come up to this park normally by accident on your way elsewhere. Well that’s what we did. So stopping here and enjoying the peace and quiet was just wonderful. Recommended

This is another Montjuic park, there are many small parks in this area. It is a nice park with interesting walkways and a number of statues. Picnic on the lawns or take your children to the playground. The cable car passes overhead. The gardens are a memorial to Catalan poet, Joan Brossa

El Parque De Sant Marti was a really nice park we took a stroll through as we were exploring this part of town.
On a roasting hot Friday afternoon we took a stroll through the park,it's well kept grounds are impressive, there's some nice bench seating,we chilled out here for about 20 minutes, soaked up the sun and checked on our phones places of interest to visit.
We really enjoyed our fleeting visit to El Parque De Sant Marti and if your in the area it's most definitely well worth checking out.
