Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- KitttyhawkFrance77 contributionsIncredible place, a ‘must see’. Excellent disabled help. €20 well spent, the bus journey through the heart of the volcanic landscape is great with far reaching views. Then the geyser display. Nice restaurant at end by car park (no reservations taken) with fabulous views. Meat cooked on bbq grill over volcanic vent.
Is windy when waiting your turn for bus, dress appropriately.
Very helpful with disabled father in wheelchair- sent right to top of car park, put on first available coach which had excellent hydraulic lift to get wheelchair on bus- where it was then v carefully tied down.
Suggest getting there in good time to avoid wait.Written 12 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Barrie LBridgend, UK9 contributionsGreat animal shows excellent water park and value for money
Well worth a visit the animals are well looked after and they talk about conservation that they doWritten 15 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - DmitriKMinsk, Belarus221 contributionsThe beach is quite nice, looks like many beaches in Italy - small, cosy but packed. They say it’s the best beach in Lanzarote. Well, in this case welcome to large, white sandy beaches of Fuerteventura, just 25 minutes by ferry from Lanzarote.
There are no showers or any other amenities on the beach. On the top of the trail to the beach there is a few restaurants, which is nice.Written 27 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Emily CChambourcy, France26 contributionsIt was a good cave tour, quite interesting and well done. The optical illusion at the end is worth seeing. Not sure it needed to take a full hour but I guess they need to spin it out. However, beware that you must book in advance online. If you do not, you have to circle back around a one way system, which takes (no exaggeration) 10 mins to drive back to the entrance.Written 21 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David DDevon, UK28,139 contributionsMonday 15th July we walked along the Paeso Maritima from our Hotel H10 Timanfaya Palace towards Rubicon Marina.
Along the way we passed this popular stretch of beach, although it's name translates as White Beach the sand is a golden colour. It is situated along the coast between the Port of Playa Blanca and Playa Dorada.
It is not the largest beach in the area but it is in a crescent shaped cove and recieves protection, from the sometimes turbulent Atlantic Ocean, from the nearby Port wall. As result the sea here is rather calm and very safe for swimmers. At both ends of the beach are large slabs of volcanic lava flow.
Visitors to the beach would never go hungry or thirsty as the promenade is lined with numerous bars, restaurants and shops with a couple of statues added into the mix. Another feature of the Promenade is safety railings, to stop visitors falling on to the beach, they resemble ships anchor chains.
At the time of our visit there were no sunbeds or umbrellas to rent on the beach, we thought that it was too early in the tourist season. However, there were showers which were working. There was a ramp leading down onto the beach which makes it accessible for everyoneWritten 31 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - UnicLeicester, UK320 contributionsTravelled in a bus from Arrecife. 19 minute journey.
The house is fantastic, and the exhibits really brought the place to life. It was easy to imagine being there in the 60’s with Manrique and his friends.
Highly recommend a visit here, perhaps the highlight of my trip to LanzaroteWritten 18 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Tony and Joy WBridgwater, UK1,200 contributionsWe were taken to the Jardín de Cactus as part of a tour around Lanzarote. It was an amazing place and the garden is very well laid out with the most interesting samples of all different types of Cacti, some of which are huge! You can walk through the garden or go up higher and look down on the amazing Cacti they have. There is a windmill that you can go into and look down on the garden too. There is a nice cafe which serves drinks, cakes and various food. We will definitely go back there next time we're in Lanzarote.Written 17 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - StrettsAtherstone, UK437 contributionsThe views are amazing and the drop is scary.
We expected to pay for parking but attendants just marshalled into position.
Being late November, it wasn't particularly busy so we had easy access to the gift shop, cafe gallery and outdoor viewing platforms. It is quiet windy so hang on to hats, children and lightweight grandparents.
The drop below is somewhat scary and the views of NW Lanzarote, impressive...not sure the photos do it justice.
