Stop searching. This is the tour you want and need. My wife and I had the great pleasure of touring with Jon around San Sebastián on what was billed as a Pinxtos foodie experience but was so much more.
Jon had curated a tour that took in the market and some incredible ingredients, the early Pinxots examples, through some sit down restaurants with plated Pinxtos and some bar hopping Pinxtos on the go. The food was incredible but more so was the history lesson Jon gave us about the region, the ingredients, the food style, the people that prepare the food and own the bars, the farming methods and the culture that really brought the whole thing together in such a wonderful way.
Jon is a wonderful host who clearly loves this region, the food and the people he comes across during these tours.
We cannot recommend this experience and Jon highly enough. We turned up thinking we were going to try some local food but left with an understanding way beyond our expectations.
