Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Bought a beautiful super strong umbrella. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent quality for not much money! Wish I could have taken a larger umbrella and walking stick home on the plane!

Have a visit to this temple, as it used to happen with old cartoons, once you are some meters near the spot a smoky hand will guide you directly inside.

Once there, let your imagination fly.

They have most amazing things, cheeses and wines available. Going in will affect your wallet! 😄 We were so happy to find this little shop and bought almost all our "souvenirs" from here.

Fabulous traditional sombreria! Like others I saw this place on the Travelman TV show; I have many hats and caps but didn’t have a beret, I spoke to the same proprietor as appeared in the show. He was just as helpful to me without a TV crew and he told me of the differences between various qualities of of beret, the different ways of wearing one and how to look after it while he sewed a new band into an old style beret that was in for repair. We spoke only in Spanish as I don’t speak Euskara so I left with a boina rather than a txapela, but from memory of the show he also speaks very good English. I think this is a must visit and he sells berets for ladies too. I wore mine for the rest of my time in Bilbao with the peak pulled to the front as the locals do, great for keeping warm and keeping the sun out too!

EspacioAerre is unique among Bilbao's art scene by bringing together the works of Spanish artists, architects, and graphic designers, including their own works. There is a range of art, cards, books, and gifts for sale, including some that are very affordable compared to the local museum gift shops. The designers at EspacioAerre are friendly (and spoke to me in English which is greatly appreciated as I'm still working on my Spanish) and have a lot of knowledge about the local art scene. They can tell you about the art in their shop, local events, public art, and where to find it. EspacioAerre is very easy to find, being just across the river from the Guggenheim museum. If you're looking for a gift or for more accessible art, this shop is worth checking out.
