Sophia was our guide and she was excellent. Clearly knew her stuff and was very enthusiastic, informative and knowledgable. The tapas bars both old and new served excellent food and drink. The high light was definitely the Flamenco set in a gorgeous courtyard where we had front row seats. Sophia explained some of the history of Flamenco before the show which helped us to appreciate and understand more of what we were about to experience. It was stunning. Highly skilled performers who clearly loved what they were doing and not just going through the motions. The whole evening was finished off with a delightful tapas meal in a small restaurant. Highly recommended and worth every penny.

We enjoyed a variety of tapas and drinks. Okay, that was a small group. I would recommend it to other travelers.

This was a great experience. It was my first day in the city, and our host, Pilar, made me feel.very welcome. She gave us a great food tasting tour, as well as talking about the history of the amazing city of Seville. We started as a group of fellow travelers and ended as friends. This is a great way to start any visit to a new city.

We had a wonderful experience at the Paella cooking class. First we had a tour of the market, learned about olive oil, olives, saffron and paprika, among other things. The women leading our tour was very passionate about food and was very fun to be around. Once we started cooking the chef gave us clear direction and was also very fun to interact with.
Can't recommend this any higher - we all had a great time - there were 13 people in our class which was not too many,

An amazing time. The lady who guided us was very nice and knowledgeable, allowing us to learn much more about the traditions of food and culture and you may skip over by simply guiding yourself through the city. We were stuffed by the end and had a great range of food.

This was our favourite part of our trip to Seville. Our tour guide Eilo was engaging and informative and we learned lots about Seville. We tried churros, tapas and drinks at 3 different bars and also iberico ham and cheese. We returned to 2 of the 3 tapas bars during our stay in Seville because the food was so good. Elio also gave us recommendations for other places to eat in Seville. Would highly recommend.

Excellent, relaxing trip with so much delicious food and our lovely host Mirella kept our drinks regularly topped up. There’s no commentary on this boat but that was perfect for us as we just enjoyed the views and the sunshine, such a chilled trip. We left completely full and very relaxed.

This is a must in Sevilla. Antonio is a phenomenal host and even better chef. The weather could not have been better not to mention wine and sangria. Perfect activity at the end of a long day.

This was really fun. Antonio rents a rooftop space by the river, and when we arrived he poured wine and offered sausage and cheese and olives while he cooked seafood paella. He's an excellent cook and made the experience fun and interesting by getting us to guess spices or explain why he adds different ingredients at different times. It was fun to drink wine and sit by the counter watching him. It was an intimate group, just us and one other couple, and it kind of felt like we were just visiting for the evening, hanging out in the kitchen, enjoying food. Plus, afterwards we got to eat the paella (and drink sangria) outside on the rooftop while the sun was setting over Seville. I'm really glad we did this- would definitely recommend.

Antonio was our host and we enjoyed the entire experience! Given that we are from Bay Area California, we have gone to many tastings in Napa Valley but this is 1 of the best Sangria experience we've had.

Antonio gave some background on Sangria an grapes and it was just the right amount of details and he made it fun by keeping this interactive and small group.

The drinks were of course the other highlights and it was so delicious! It was a great way to spend the afternoon with the spectacular view! I highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting!

We had a great excursion to the Porto winery. Sergio was the guide and spent alot of time with us since we required English. We also visited Cadiz, which had multiple eating establishments and some shopping. Many visitors there that surprised me. Food was inexpensive and good. All prices in Spain were inexpensive with great prices.

Sergio was definitely the key to having a great time. Make sure you get him as your guide.

Rain, low clouds, and very cold... but so very glad I took this tour. We needed to go up the mountains to reach Ronda and Setenil and, for those who, like me, are not fond of heights, this could be a challenge. Setenil was a pleasant surprise with typical Andalucian houses built under the overhanging rock face - not sure I would live there, but glad to have seen it. By the time we reached Ronda the temperature had dropped and the rain had set in. I managed to stay with the group as we visited the Bull Fighting ring and the fascinating museum showing the history of Bull Fighting... then gave up and went somewhere to eat. The return trip down to the Costa del Sol was horrific as the coach had to drive (in the rain) through low clouds - visibility much reduced. But, the weather had cleared on the coast and we were able to see the Rock of Gibraltar in the distance.

Friday had been a great day in Seville, fantastic Jamon Iberico, boquerones, bacalao in paprika, croquetas de camarones, cold cruzcampo….we were now Tapas aficionados. Tapas with a cold beer were great, but what would they be like coupled with a cold glass of Fino…..tomorrow we would find out on Roger’s Sherry Tour(Lustau winery and Lunch)
My brother and I had both seen Roger appear on a Rick Stein Seville episode and not only did he come across as an interesting guy, but was obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about good product. I don’t think we could visit Seville without meeting this guy - the tour was booked and we would be meeting Roger on Saturday morning.
The tour started the moment Roger picked us up at our hotel, he was just as enthusiastic as us and conversation flowed until we reached Lustau winery in Jarez. We entered the incredible cathedral like building that housed lines of Sherry Casks in infantry like formation, however this is where Roger gets to showcase the fantastic range of Lustau wines and his extensive knowledge of wines….all the way from the grape to the glass. Not only did we try the Sherries, but also the Vermouths (Red, Rose and White) and finally a Sherry Vinegar. Roger has a knack of animating the whole tasting experience and we couldn’t help but nod in agreement as he imparted his numerous years of experience.
Next, we was off to La Cruz Blanca - a smashing local restaurant in courtyard type setting. It was certainly a popular place and when the small plates of food started arriving, it was obvious to see why. Roger had ordered well, but when we had our first glass of chilled Fino with a plate of juicy clams the penny dropped!! Every dish seamed to make the Fino taste better, but then the Fino enhanced the food. Roger had certainly opened our eyes and it was ‘Dos Fino’ for the rest of our stay in Seville. In between the Winery and Restaurant we also walked round a local working fish market - a great place to wet the appetite.
Roger couldn’t have been a better host, entertaining, knowledgeable and a throughly likeable guy. If we could have stayed longer in Seville I would have certainly booked Roger for a Jamon/Olive Oil tour.
There’s no Question, Roger has good taste!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening! We learned so much - including making sangria, how to cut an artichoke and a chicken…in addition to all the tricks of making an authentic paella. The amount of participation was perfect and our food was excellent! Highly recommend this experience for your Seville trip!
