Booked a day trip from Seville. The tourist offices were brilliant - really well organised, helpful and informative. The minibus was on time to collect at 8am, with a coach leader Carlos, and comfortable for the long journey (although glad to stop briefly for a loo stop - take breakfast with you as there’s little time otherwise). We were dropped straight to Alhambra and met by our guide Alba - who was brilliant. The weather was particularly awful (with more outdoors than we’d appreciated) but she was able to stay enthusiastic and keep us all together for the 3hr tour. Alhambra was amazing. Absolutely stunning. A must see. Afterwards, we said goodbye to Alba and handed back to Carlos who took us to a restaurant next door to Alhambra. This is where things went awry. Carlos had no real ability to organise a group. He wasn’t able to take lunch orders and several people got the wrong orders or nothing at all. He had a heavy accent which made him difficult to understand, and seemed to get worse as the day progressed. He took us into Granada to the Muslim quarter for a walking tour, which wasn’t entirely welcome after being so wet and cold earlier in the day but was very beautiful. We left after dark and made one very brief loo stop on the way back - reaching Seville at 9ish. Highly recommend the tour (or any interaction with this company), the Alhambra and a walk around Granada but we cannot endorse Carlos.
