- GoAlong2Seattle, WA890 contributionsThis old tunnel stretches under the rug r to allow passage to the other side. Giant lifts at each end would lower cars into the tunnel. Now it is a pedestrian and bicycle passage. It's very nice to walk around and cross the bridges over the canals while admiring the red brick buildings. Lts of different food stalls to chose from but we went for currywust as it was something we had to sample on our trip.
