Hein was a very good guide, always ready to answer questions, polite and considerate (it was quite cold and he tried to keep us sheltered from the wind as much as possible! ). I learned some interesting things about Munich having lived here for a few months.
Mat the tour guide was great and very knowledgeable - long day but worth the trip. The weather was a bit foggy so could not see the beautiful views as well - but we did not let that spoil the experience.
A small group braved the winter temperatures led by Berndt. The tour went indoors into Churches to warm us up periodically. It was so interesting that the 2 hour tour went by quickly. The cold was not a problem. The lack of crowds made the tour so much better! I don't think there is any question that he could not answer about Munich!
It was ok. One of the better hop ons that we have been on. Would suggest going on your first full day to get your bearings. The dialogue was a tad late in some parts. The explanation was explained as we were leaving the sites
Used this company for Oktoberfest tour. Very nice couple owns it and they are very accommodating. Their staff is top notch. Great tour all the way around.
The first part of the tour to see the old stadium and the FC Bayern headquarters was quite forgettable. There’s not much to see and even if there was, the windows on the bus were so fogged up that you couldn’t see out.
The tour of the Allianz Arena was really well done. My son was thrilled to see the locker room and all the trophies in the museum.
Michelle was fantastic. She is a great communicator and was very accommodating about a slight meeting time change for our family’s walking tour. She has a deep and impressive understanding of Munich, Bavarian and German history. It is obvious she loves leading tours and she is one of the best I’ve had—she is engaging and sincere and not corny or artificial in trying to make connections with the group members which I really appreciated. Would absolutely book her again.
This bike tour was outstanding! Our tour guide, Karl, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. This was a great tour to get to know the city more and learn about the history of the city. They were very accommodating getting us prepared on the bikes and making sure we were safe when riding. The stop was well timed allowing us to get warm in the middle of the tour and get to know the people on the tour!
Robert was very patient teaching everyone how to operate the Segways and then gave us a very interesting trip around the main sights of the city. We were all enjoying it and nobody was in a rush to get anywhere so he extended the tour to almost an extra hour for us. Great trip to do early on in your visit to Munich to get your bearings. Top tip-grab breakfast round the corner at Kreutzkamm Cafe-what a treat!
We would like to thank Adam our tour guide for an exceptional day. Even though Dachau was a very sombre experience Adam managed to make it quite informative and really gave us a detailed account of what happened there. We were also left to contemplate our experience privately which I thought was very thoughtful. We were picked up from our hotel and escorted to the Camp. On our way back via public transport, Adam gave us some wonderful options for dining. Highly recommend the experience and we thank Adam again.
