Had to intention of going in here but just stumbled in due to the sheer volume of books visible from outside. You’ll get lost in it all. Lots of English books and second hand books. Vinyl records also. Can go 2 floors upstairs and 2 downstairs. Literally endless amount of books. Really cool spot

The Darmstädther Hof is a small shopping center in central Heidelberg and includes several shops, bar-restaurants, car-park etc.
You cannot miss it when walking down the long Haupstrasse (Main Street) towards the main bus or railway station. Although it is still a 15 min. walk from the historic part of Heidelberg.
    It's there, it's covered, that's all.

From outside the candy shop looks a little bit wired and strange, but this should not stop you from going inside. The Zuckerladen (engl. Sugar Shop) is a unique candy shop which is owned by a lovely couple since so many years. You can buy all sorts of candy, like gummi bears and lollipops. Beside his owner, who will start a game of dice and a small talk with you while you are paying, the candy monsters are another highlight of the shop.

This is definitely a must-see at your tour through Heidelberg.

Great service, ambiance, friendly staff, excellent coffee, hot chocolate and cake. There are many choices in this town and finding a good location can be tough. If you are looking for a great place for coffee look no further. This was a great experience in Heidelberg.

The sales were very good. Not a huge shop compared to the other shops around the town, but You can easily find what you are looking for.

This was my wife's dream visit, she loves xmas shops. We were here on a Scenic River Cruise and toured the town as well with a guide.
This shop (and there are a few around the town) is chock fill of xmas decorations of all sorts, quite impressive really. My wife was in heaven until she saw the prices. Nutcracker decorations that we would buy from a UK Garden Centre were 3 times the price here, but, these were made in Germany not China. You get what you pay for.
Well worth a visit. Friendly staff.

A great store to find a variety of souvenirs for a range of gifts and prices. I particularly like in no particular order: the lucky gold pig with penny coin, the East Berlin walking / stopping man magnets, the dirndl-wearing stuffed bear, the peacock plush cloth, the tiny Heidelberg silhouette in a matchbox, the white lace ornaments, the stuffed Hedgehog toy, the Deutschland linen towel.

Came across this shop while wandering through Heidelberg. Bought a great necklace - wish I'd bought more! I make jewelry myself, so I can tell the difference between good and so-so. This was good - creative, well-made and fun. The owner is particularly charming as well. Wish they sold online!
