Couple of glasses of champagne with some small shrimp nibbles set us back €40 but it was money well spent. The veuve clicquot was icy cold as you would expect and didn’t disappoint. Stunning. So good I came back later that day with my teen daughter.

Crowded but still fun
"I VISITED THIS PLACE"...
... in order to go to Galleries Lafayette and Printemps, and to see the Paris Palais Garnier Opera House I loved it and even despite the crowds, it was great fun.

The seats are worn for sure. But the theater has a great deal of history. Been around since the late 1800s! Great location in the center of Paris. It was actually the home of Gustave Moreau and the top 2 floors were just huge rooms with many of his works displayed around it. The bottom 2 floors were the living quarters of his home.
