    Review of: Green River Cruises
    Highlight of our trip to Paris
    Our Family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children ages 8 - 12) all agreed that our private River Cruise on Green River Cruises was the highlight of our trip to Paris.

    A private cruise is certainly more expensive than the other cruise options, but if you have the budget I cannot recommend Green River Cruises enough. Their boarding location is a little bit out of the main area - just a short walk from the Jardin des Plantes, the Austerlitz metro station, or Gare de Lyon.

    We reserved a private 90-minute cruise. Two bottles of wine were included and we added bottled water and a charcuterie tray at an extra cost. We booked online and corresponded via email to confirm details.

    In hindsight, I should have opted for the 2 hour cruise, but I wasn’t sure when booking just how much everyone would have liked it and thought 90-minutes was fine. I’m honestly, after doing so much walking around Paris - we could have done a 3 hours cruise. The kids loved seeing so much while having a comfortable place to sit and relax.

    We arrived a few minutes before our scheduled cruise time and were greeted by Jeff our captain for the cruise. The boat was very comfortable and would have seated 8 adults very comfortably. Jeff was very friendly although not overly talkative. He kept to himself when we were talking amongst ourselves but was very friendly and informative about the sights when we asked some questions.

    The cruise itself was smooth and enjoyable. We saw all of the major sights along the Seine River. We were able to hook-up our phone to the boat’s Bluetooth speakers to enjoy our own music as well. The charcuterie tray was a big hit - even with the kids. My wife & I could only finish one bottle of wine and they allowed us to take the other with us.

    One tip, we searched feverishly to find a bathroom at the Gare de Lyon train station prior to walking to the boat launch. We wasted 15 minutes and finally found one. And then when we arrived at the launch, we were offered access to a bathroom before the cruise. Would have liked to know that bathroom was available in advance.

    I highly recommend Green River Cruises.

    Review of: Bateau mon Paris
    Simply Magical!
    Simply magical! Within a few days I had researched, booked and had taken a cruise with 9 of my closest friends! The process to book and pay for was very easy thanks to Camille. Our Captain of the boat was friendly and took us to all the best spots on the Seine. The icing on the cake was there was no other boats on the Seine that night except for a police boat. The experience could not have been better!

    Review of: Paris Canal
    Gorgeous day
    I took a group of 35 people on a 6-hour Seine and Marne rivers. It was flawless. The lunch was delicious, the bilingual commentator perfect, even the weather was cooperating. Gorgeous day, congratulations.

    Review of: Marin d'Eau Douce
    Great experience
    We took a 2 hour trip with the average boat with 2 kids of 8 years old. It was perfect to go to Pantin making some stops before in the Villette parc. The boat is comfortable but slow. We recommend this activity. Better to book but if the weather isn’t that good not necessary.

    Review of: Le Bateau Alizé
    Dinner cruise and Bastille Day Fireworks
    The worst experience after paying almost €500 for 3 people, one of them a teenager.
    Do not book tables if you're sold out and then give paying people seats at a table near the bathrooms and next to the, obviously non paying, family of the work staff.
    Service: Non existent
    Food: below average
    Wine: cheap

    We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and had mentioned that in the comments section of the booking but no one paid any attention to that!!
    The boat was parked in a nice place for fireworks but besides that everything else was a disaster.
    I had to slip €50 to the entertainer to play a romantic song for my wife and I so we could make something of the evening.
    Thoroughly disgusting people who run this show!!!
