Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Even though we were not able to enter the auditorium, the remainder of the place that we did see is amazing! Even though the auditorium was closed the doors to some of the seats do have windows so you may be able to sneak a peek through those, the auditorium lights were out but I was able to see just a little from the light that went through the door windows.

If you really do have your heart set on seeing the auditorium in-person, you will probably have to buy a ticket to a performance, the website prominently mentions that the auditorium is often closed during tour periods because of performances.

If you're an English-speaker in Paris interested in either French cinema, French culture or meeting new people, I highly recommend you attend an event with Lost in Frenchlation.

I got to see their screening of "Bienvenue chez les ch'tis" at l'Arlequin cinema and had some amazing conversations with other international students, enjoyed some stand up comedy and watched a really funny French film!

Just went to see M. Butterfly and after reviews I read before going, I thought I would be in for a big disappointment. I was so wrong! It was wonderful, the singing and the orchestra was beautiful. The set was minimal but how they used the lighting really worked well. I will say, after just seeing Les Bigands at the Palais Garnier last week, the opera Bastille was very industrial.

Incredibly funny Belgian magician. My 6 year old son and I were in tears laughing. Highly recommended

Great cinema - if you want to be in the huge auditorium, make sure it says the large screen when you book. VSOT means the film will be in its original language with French subtitles, VF means it will be (dubbed) in French. You don't book seats, so be there about half an hour early to queue and get yourself a good seat.
The screen is truly huge and made the film-watching experience fantastic, as did the lovely starry ceiling and feel of the place - although it's fairly basic decor other than that for seating/toilets/public spaces etc, rather than glamorously appointed. I am 5'6"/ 1.68cm and my knees were leaning against the seat in front - not bad, but anyone taller might want to choose their seats carefully.
You are not allowed to bring in food bought elsewhere - the very friendly staff will take your bag off you if you want to keep any food or drink. You can get it back at the end. You can buy popcorn/drinks in the cinema.
As ever, a few more ladies' toilets would make it a better experience.

We made last minute reservations for new year's eve in Paris and loved the experience. We are American, but we speak French and even though we only got 70% of it. we really enjoyed it. The food is cold buffet, so don't go for the food!

This is the gem of France's theatres and a must go-to if you visit Paris. it is a classic. I went to see Tartuffe last week and did not regret it. Try to book in d=advance if you go as a family or group but, if you are alone you can find cheaper last-minute tickets on the day of the play.

We went to a good show here. It's a big theater in the tradition of Paris' music halls. Historic, but it's been modernized. Great neighborhood for eating before or after the theater.

Very fancy and cool theater. Went there to see "Dernier Coup de Ciseaux" and really liked it.

The only drawback was that it was so warm on the inside and took a bit of time to get inside.

Cosy theatre, just near OPERA GARNIER.

You may have tea, coffee, French desserts in the restuarant nearby.

Great comedy with Mr. Arditti - MENSONGES.

You must understand French... in order to enjoy performances.

Family size théâtre offering a funny and delicate political satyric show.
A good mix of talents on stage, male, female, young and senior...
Seating is very close to the stage so it really feels as if you were part of the artists.
A great show that will help you to escape the noisy, gray, polluted, busy, always work-in-progress Parisian streets.

Nice small theater! Certainly renovated not many years ago. But still after one hour, it starts to be painful for the back. The Theater show was very interested and I can recommend people to visit this theater! A very nice time with friends and family.
