It was recommended to get there 20 min earlier but you are holding a tray of food before you board. You can eat it in line or on the boat. It was a lousy rainy day, but the experience is unforgettable. All made possible by our expert, intelligent, dynamic, charismatic, and witty guide Adam. Could never thank him enough for sharing his knowledge, engaging the group, and teaching us about this beautiful city and its rich history and culture. For a one day tour you hit many of the highlights which is a plus. Staff was attentive but could have stopped to ask if we needed anything after serving. Staff numbers were potentially inadequate for number of guests. Great opportunity for pictures of major Paris landmarks at night from the Seine. Due to lighting in the seating area, pictures have to be taken from top deck. - Becky L5 contributionsBooked a package of river cruise and Eiffel Tower experience as had left it late to get tickets for the Eiffel Tower. It was great combo. The company were brilliant with communication as the meeting had to change due to road closures for the Olympics. We did an 8pm cruise followed by the Tower (at that time we walked straight in and ascended to the second floor). Our guide Khadija was knowledgable and friendly. Overall a great experience. We were in the Tower for the first sparkly light show so we decided to stick around to watch the 11pm one. - Robert S1 contributionAs they don't provide a menu in advance and only ask for allergies... here is what we were offered:
Starter - Salmon mousse (no other option). We said we don't eat Salmon and they brought us something else which was OK but would have been nice to know in advance as we may have picked another cruise.
Main - Chicken with veg in paprika sauce OR Pollock.
Desert - Chocolate cake or fruit selection.
Food was OK overall.
You are sat in 3 rows looking out of the boat. 2nd/3rd row is elevated but unfortunately all pictures have the front row/2nd row heads in front of you and reflections from the glass due to the lighting.
Drinks were really expensive and not included in the ticket, which was disappointing. We were given a complimentary bottle of water. Several guests didn't realise this and were hit with a hefty bill at the end of the meal.
There was a photographer on board who took some nice pictures (some had other couples in the background /foreground). Charged €20 for 1 picture, €40 for 2 or €50 for 3 which was really expensive again given the ticket price.
The views and the journey up the river was gorgeous, would recommend, just perhaps with a different provider.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to find a boat and location. Our boat name was IVOIRE.
At the foot of Alexandre III bridge, you can see a boat which name is Bistrot Alexandre III. On the right of this boat, there is a footbridge to access on the boat Ivoire.
It is definitely worth things to experience, and we enjoyed it a lot. Very pleasant evening with friendly staff and a beautiful boat.
Food is also delivered, but the water price is a bit overpriced.
