Great History Lessons
We visited this museum on a cold weekend in November, and it was a fascinating stop. So much history that, as an American, I wasn’t aware of. We really enjoyed all of the exhibits but particularly the chapel and the tombs. I recommend stopping here.

An amazing family visit
An amazing glimpse into the struggles of the French people during WW2, with some poignant exhibits of the bravery of the people.
The staff are amazing and made us feel so welcome. Our Granddaughter Evelyn loved meeting you all.

A Convenient Gem for History Lovers
This is a very quick and easy pop in museum which provides a feast for the eyes. Free, easy, gorgeous grounds. The Napoleonic treasures (paintings, uniforms, medals, etc) are fascinating and layout is very compact. So much reward for so little effort or time required. Great bag check w nice restrooms. Riggt in the shadow of the Orsay.

Wonderful insight into military relief maps
This was a very surprising find when we were at Invalides. It’s on the 4th floor of a wing (same wing where the temporary SAS exhibition is). The detail and size of the models are amazing. They must have been extremely valuable in terms of military strategy in the past.

There is also a section of the museum which shows how the maps were made and restored etc.

Beautiful building and interesting visit
Beautiful building and interesting museum even though we're not medical professionals or military veterans. The entire Val du Grace area is fenced in. To visit the museum, you must ring the bell, located on the gate, and ask to be admitted to the museum. At the "guard house", you exchange a photo id for a visitor's lanyard. Upon entering the museum itself, there is a 5 euro charge and a coat check. We spent a little more than an hour in this interesting building. The architecture, chapel, and exhibits were very interesting, and sometimes a little grizzly due to their nature. We were very pleased that we visited. The chapel was constructed in the 16th century and the flooring, staircase, etc were a sight to see.

Nice Collection
This is a small museum located within the Invalides. It is separate admission but is covered by the Paris Museum Pass if you have it (I did). The collection was interesting and informative and worth a few minutes especially if you have the museum pass.

Lots to see
There are huge amounts of info and things to look at in the museum. The church with napoleons tomb is also beautiful. The 15 euro entrance is worth it as you can spend a whole day looking round the army museum if that interests you. If it doesn’t it probably isn’t as you’d pay 15 euros to see Napoleons tomb and it’d take you 10 mins
