The marché de la création is in the neighborhood we always stay in in Paris, but we’ve apparently never been here on a Sunday before to find it.
We visited it yesterday, and it was a very pleasant experience. It didn’t take a lot of time to cover, but we were there towards closing and some exhibitors may have already left. The artists were all approachable and friendly- no pressure to buy. Works covered a range of prices- we bought one piece for €15 and another for a bit more, both from the creator.
It is located right at the Edgar Quinet metro station; you can’t miss it. It is all outdoors, so the weather could be a factor.
Sundays can be a bit hard to fill in Europe, but this neighborhood has this, a few bakeries open, an Italian deli open, and it’s an easy stroll to Luxembourg Gardens, which is always a pleasant destination.
