Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Best museum I’ve ever visited. We spent about 2 hours there and still ran out of time so would definitely like to go again someday. And if you’re under 25 years-old you get to visit for free.

A magnificent museum with so much important artworks. We had a guided tour from an outside agency and it was really outstanding giving us a better understanding of the development of impressionism and the key artists. The art here is some of the greatest you will every see. It can really move you and leave a lasting impression. I loved every moment of our 2-1/2 hour visit.

While all of the exhibits in the museum are great, the two Monet rooms with his large water lilly panels are well worth the price of admission on their own. Some of the most striking artwork I have ever seen.

The Musèe Rodin is a nice change of pace from the crowded bigger museums. The entrance is a gate to the gardens and The Thinker. Going inside, one is met with stunning pieces of work. There are busts coming forth from a block of marble. The beauty of an embrace of love. ❤️ What a nice relaxing visit.

We approached from Ranelagh metro station so we had a nice walk through the park. Good welcome and the lockers were useful so we could enjoy the exhibits unencumbered. Good range of artworks and the temporary sporting exhibition was very good. We came for the impressionists and were not disappointed. Worth a visit, not necessarily one we would feel the need to visit twice

Great museum showing the history of the French Army. From early days with suits of Armor to WW2. Also includes Napoleon’s Tomb.

Even though we had stayed in Bercy Village before, we didn't know about the Musee des Arts Forains, and I feel like a fool for not having gone sooner.
Do your research so that you can book the right tour on the right day, but you won't regret it. They let you know in advance that the tours are in French, but there is literature there to walk you through the place in different languages. And even if you don't use them, just walking through the place looking an everything would be incredible. (on the day we went about half the group were non-french speakers, so the guide did much of the tour in English, but I wouldn't expect this)
This historic place not only showcases decades of games and rides, but they have been preserved so well that you get to interact with many of them. I had never seen so many of the games before, and getting to be able to play them made or an amazing experience. But it is not just games, there are rides here from long ago that you get to experience.
I couldn't recommend the museum more highly and would encourage anyone in Paris to go.

The building alone is worth a visit, but it also houses a wonderfully curated art collection. The cafe and outside garden is an oasis of calm and caffeine. Really enjoyed it here.

Broad collection of modern art in well-laid out rooms. Also great views from the various terraces on the different floors, and from the exterior escalators. Be aware that the Paris Museum pass will let you see the permanent exhibits, but not the temporary exhibits on the top floor.

A beautiful mansion, now a museum with quite a history background. It is next to the lovely Parc Monceau and well worth your visit. The day I was there there were only 3 other people- such a nice experience after so many lovely but crowded museums

A visit to the newly renovated Cluny Museum is a must. The Metro station is next to the museum, making it easy to reach. There is an extensive array of exhibits from paintings and sculpture to the exquisite tapestries. Being housed in a medieval structure, built over a Roman bath there are lots of steps up and down, but for those with limited mobility there are elevators. Beyond the interior displays, the courtyard offers a serene place to take in the intricate architecture of the building. There is also a nice, quiet garden next to the museum that offers an opportunity to sit and experience one of the many green spaces Paris offers.

Our friends recommended this to us after their trip to Paris. They said it was a must see and they were correct. It is a work of art in all aspects. Beautiful displays, courteous employees, and not too crowded. We purchased tickets beforehand and it was flawless. Just perfect! Do not miss on your next trip to Paris!!!

We like modern art and famous architecture. The Louis Vuitton Fondation exhibition was therefore the perfect place for a visit. We liked everything. The building. The park. The exhibition and the art. Really a great place.

After my self-guided tour of the Opéra Garnier, I went to the nearby free museum: Musée de Perfume de Fragonard, It was so interesting to learn about the scent combinations of different herbs and to see the demonstration of the Fragonard perfume production process. You can also purchase different scents of Fragonard perfume, eau de cologne and soaps in tbd shop on the first floor.

We spent a good 3 - 4 hours in this museum today & loved it.

There is a wonderful array of exhibits which covered the history of all sorts of inventions & industrial devices- coming from the 15th century to today.

The highlights for us were the 2nd floor with the Scientific Instruments & Materials galleries - and the ground floor / church which housed transport exhibits all the way from a Model T to a F1 race car.

The museum is in a lovely old building & the church has spectacular stained glass windows.

It is a quiet museum- we went on a Wednesday morning & there wouldn’t have been more than 10 - 15 visitors, and we seemed to be the only foreign visitors.

I highly recommend this museum & thoroughly enjoyed our visit
