Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful history behind the arc de triomphe. I recommend being fit if you’d like to climb to the top to see the view of Paris as the stairs are a killer. You can also enjoy the views from the bottom.

What an incredible work of art! This chapel is breath-taking and awe-inspiring. You don't have to spend a ton of time here or take a guided tour to enjoy the sheer magnitude of this amazing chapel.

A peak into the dark side of French history. Well organized entry and you can expect to spend between 45 minutes to an hour here. A little expensive for the amount of time the visit takes.

Make sure to buy tickets in advance as it is always almost sold out.

We were surprised by a cleaned-up facade after some sand blasting. Maybe it was just the schedule? Maybe it was for the Olympics? Either way, the big bold church has never looked better, and since it sits at a crossroads, many tourists are likely to pass by to enjoy it. A little dark inside, from the Napoleon era.

A beautiful historic building. It's really close to Ile de la Cite, so I recommend you come here early, before the bulk of the tourist start pouring in, to get the best shots.

The construction works are still ongoing an there is no entry into the interior but there are a lot of information of the restoration works and history about the cathedral scattered around the front of the cathedral. It is free to stop by and appreciate the exterior. The side and back are unfortunately blocked off at the time of visit.

Had an excellent experience at the Olympics on both main show courts and the outside courts. The seats were new and comfortable and the general organisation was good. We will be back for the French Open!

We had purchased the combo ticket covering both Saint Chapelle and Conciergerie. The tablet app that is handed as a guide is really cool. One gets to visualize how the place would have looked like back in the olden days.
Interesting anecdotes from history. Overall a nice place to visit and not too crowded either.

I discovered this place from instagram. I was curious about the black and white columns and I discovered all the rest of the garden. Very relaxing place in the center of the city

    PROS
    * The best location at the Trocadero Plaza opposite the best view of the Eiffel Tower
    * Impressive curved symmetric buildings
    * Housing, some of the less famous and less popular museums in Paris, such as the marine and the ethnology

    CONS
    * it is located at frantic and frenetic Trocadero Plaza, where there are tourists all day and all night, as well as hawkers and stalkers

    “ I VISITED THIS PLACE”…
… from the outside when I was at Trocadero several times

    WAS IT WORTH THE COST?
    It was free

WOULD “I VISIT THIS PLACE” AGAIN?
Sure – when I visit Trocadero again, and maybe I would go inside

    ADVICE
At least look at and notice these buildings when you are there at Trocadero to admire the Eiffel Tower

Have been to Paris many times and always try to visit different attractions. Really enjoyed learning more about Victor Hugo and his amazing canon of work and its wider impact. It's a very moving and quite personal museum and even if you don't know his work it is engaging. Lovely and stylish cafe too.
