- Jill M3 contributionsAbsolutely worth every penny! Wouldn’t have found these shops on our own or at least not in nearly the efficient manner in which Juliette did. I found a shop that almost everything I tried on looked and felt good and was exactly what I was looking for. Juliette messaged with me beforehand about my style and what I was looking for. Her English is perfect and she took us to some shops along the way where we found some great gifts too.
For my husband, again, we found a shop that fit him perfectly.
Although the retailers did speak English quite well, our wishes were certainly conveyed better through Juliette’s translations.
My husband and I both had a really great time and, again, both found exactly what we were looking for in the price ranges that we had specified.

She picked out several cute items for us in advance, and even had a shop that was closed open up just for us. She also helped us understand and get the VAT paperwork at each store-well worth her rate to have such a chic guide and seamless experience! - meg.pz1 contributionWhat a great tour! Marche Madness is the perfect tour for those who want to uncover a part of Paris that most visitors don't see - the local markets. If you love shopping and hunting for the perfect treasures and souvenirs (and even feeling a bit like a local), this tour is for you. Allison is an excellent guide and you can tell that she loves and appreciates Paris. She's very knowledgeable about French culture and traditions. - BrianBEganCorvallis, OR22 contributionsThis was a fascinating tour through an essentially unknown part of Paris: the arcades or covered passages full of shops that were created during the 19th and early 20th century. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and his descriptions were interesting and vivid. He provided a lot of architectural background and economic context for what we saw, and that added a lot to our enjoyment.
He was very empathic with our hearing difficulties, and was very tolerant and helpful when we were delayed and had to find the tour via a text message stream. The route was carefully planned to provide a continuing series of interesting stops and experiences, and we ended up going back to the area to explore it further on our own.

I had a few ideas of what I liked and I ended up finding a nice scent from a niche brand I had never heard of. I liked being able to see all the different collections and test around. - Corinne A14 contributionsI booked a private shopping experience with Sarah and the time just flew by! We started with a quiz that helps determine your style based on your personality and preferences. It was very detailed and helped me to understand which category was dominant vs. accentuating.
Then we got to shopping and it was so eye opening to have her chose items I would never chose myself and then discuss why the colors and various fits support my features and preferences. We went to many different stores in the Marais area which were all less than a few minutes walk from each other. Sarah is so easy to talk to and I really enjoyed my time shopping with her.
