Our waiter was uninterested in being there and made us feel unimportant, we were just another bunch of tourists.
We were sat at a cramped table and were asked what we wanted to drink and eat. We ordered cocktails (which were revolting).
and we had no choice in what we had for starters or desserts but had a choice of mains. The food was served straight away even though people had yet to board the boat which was odd. The food was good but I noticed that a large percentage of patrons didn't eat much at all so there was a lot of food wastage (not everyone wants to eat raw fish). As the cocktails were so bad, we ordered a jug of water which they then charged us 10 euro for (it was tap water).
If we were to come to Paris again, we would cruise the Seine again but wouldn't waste our money on another dinner cruise.

- nksliderSea Cliff, NY5 contributionsMy wife and I are NOT group tour people usually, in fact we rarely even do private tours as we prefer to "do our own thing" most of the time. So, we signed up a little reluctantly for this tour at our Travel Agents suggestion. That said, we were prepared for the worst and what we got was the exact opposite. The tour was fantastic, made all the more fun by Theo who has a great personality and wonderful enthusiasm for his work. (Not to mention perfect English! I hope someday my French is half as good.) The tour itself is well done, with some great stops for top notch eats. I would give the tour alone 5 stars but Theo made it even better. He shares his rich personal observations and insights, it is a delight to walk and learn with him. The food and wine are wonderful, you will get a few good tips on how to enjoy wine too.
The best part for me, PJ wasn't watching the clock, we moved along when we were ready, even late in the afternoon PJ took us to a couple of leisurely dessert stops.

Wide variety of different foods from local vendors and paired with some lovely (optional) wine. Tried foods we wouldn't have thought to from some unexpected sources.

Just some recommendations to take into consideration:
- Wearing light clothes because it gets really hot inside the cruise (even though I went in winter). If you get to sit next to a window you will get direct (harsh) sunlight on one way or another of the route.

Our guide, Gelsomina, took us through the streets of Saint Germain and introduced us to excellent examples of French cuisine. We savored quiche, croissants, coffees, cheeses and wine, chocolate, and pastry. When we mentioned that we hoped to purchase wine and chocolates to take home, she took us to places where she recommended that we make the purchases. This was a perfect end to our Paris vacation, as we left on the next day.
