Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Big shopping mall with large selection of stores on multiple floors, Sephora, Fnac, Monoprix, Lego Store, New Balance & much more.
Located close to main streets, busy area with a lot of restaurants around.

This is a lovely department store in the heart the Le Marais. It appears there is nothing you can't get here. The big bonus here is something that is very difficult to find as a tourist in France. A well appointed, clean rest room. While it is hard to find it is worth the ride up to fourth floor.

The shopping mall is well located in the Grenelle neighbourhood, with good transport connections (bus and underground), a walking distance of Eiffel Tower and Trocadéro museums.

At 190 meters long its claim to fame is the longest covered passage way in Paris, the end with the clock adds to its beauty, it is not the prettiest however it holds its own.

In December, a friend took us to this open-air passage that had recently opened in the 7th Arrondissement with a focus on food. In an expensive neighborhood, it links rue de Grenelle and rue du Bac and boulevard Raspail. We entered through a long, narrow corridor that features "Traversee," a 2018 art installation by Eva Jospin. On one side, the work displays a tangle of wood, branches, twigs, roots and cardboard trunks. A long mirror on the opposite wall reflects the piece.

Inside the passage, buildings displayed various architectural styles, from 18th century to modern. Holiday decorations glittered and newly planted trees offered the promise of shade someday. Sculptures waited to be inspected. But the food shops and places to eat are what quickly captured our attention. Menu boards by various restaurants listed the lunch specials, in an attempt to entice the few people there at 2 p.m. on a weekday to enter. We had already eaten, but wanted to see what establishments might be worth returning to on another day.

Renowned pastry chef Pierre Herme has opened his first cafe here, and that looked promising. A fan of Mersea, I was happy to see its sign for casual street seafood. Tempting cheeses looked out from the new branch of Fromagerie Barthelemy, one of the most expensive cheese shops in Paris. Carrefour City stood ready with groceries and snacks for those on the go. And so it went until we came to Thierry Max Bakery. That's when we decided to duck in for some relief from the cold winter day. Tasty croissants and rich coffee there hit the spot.

During our visit, the pleasant passage exuded newness. It seemed like a wonderful place for neighborhood residents but not an attraction I would have sought out if not for the interest of our friend. In warmer weather, I assume the space would be much more lively, especially with the addition of customers at the outside tables. But I doubt that we would make a cross-town trip here again, though we would not hesitate to stop by if we happened to be in the vicinity.

Les Arcades des Champs Elysees is a collection of shops. We were passing by and stopped to have a look. We did not buy anything, but enjoy window shopping.

We had booked for the Da Vinci exhibition. There was no clear signage where to go and few staff to ask. The audioguide was a nightmare to use and not comprehensive. The crowds generally made the experience unpleasant. would hate to visit in peak season.

Small shopping mall on the outskirts of the city, a bit hard to get to. But no great reason to go since there are only a few stores and some restaurants, plus a big multiscreen movie theater. Boring architecture. No charm.

It was pouring rain and took shelter sort of randomly. Decided to eat dinner. Had one of the nots Chef Specials. Amazing. This was the kind of meal one hopes to encounter in France. A place with locals serving amazing food, fresh ingredients, professional with pretension staff and at a great value. For $35 E we both had a remarkable pork medallions entree wrapped in filo dough and separated by a thin shaving of pork belly. It was highlighted by a delicate pork broth-based, sherry cream sauce to die for. Add fresh long green beans and in house middle eastern, cheese infused flat bread, and a glass of house wine....I am still smiling thinking about it.
The interior is clean and stylish. Their is both indoor and patio seating and also a small bar area which clearly was filled with locals who have regular relationship with the staff making for a friendly but very professional environment.
A deal and an amazing meal!
