Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- ALS2017276 contributionsWe visited this department store after advice it has a stunning dome and roof top terrace where you can take some superb pics as well as buying designer clothes etc
Tip the Dome is in the ladies building there is a bridge to get your Instagram shot, go to the roof terrace in the same buildingWritten 25 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Very good selection of books and the staff were friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you like book shops.Written 3 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Wainer77Tustin, CA7 contributionsThis is what you would expect for a farmers market. Easy enough to get a meal/snack while you are there. As far as tourism goes, there is a few stalls that have typical souvenirs way cheaper than the other popular destinations. Can get stuff for 1-2 euro each.Written 5 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- frankuk19215 contributionsSpacious Modern and very Elegant Department Store, you could find most of the famous brands, the staff is quite atenttive.Written 11 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Richard R17 contributionsA “foodies paradise” and must stop. Fill up with fresh produce, cheese, chocolate, baked goods and more. Next time in Paris, I might just stay at an Air b&b just to take full advantage of this treasure.Written 8 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - angeleAnn Arbor, MI180 contributionsEat lunch or snack your way along this lovely street as you walk to the Eiffel Tower and then head to the Rodin Museum too!!Written 4 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Laura C10 contributionsFun and quirky. Went here as an alternative to the art we saw at the Louvre the day before. Great fun and definitely worth a visit. If you have space to take some art home you can purchase some too.Written 16 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas VOakland, CA17,482 contributionsThis market was close to the apartment where we stayed, so we walked over one morning and bought some delicious fresh food. This is a very large market in an historic building. It's a lively place, good place to tour for any foodie.Written 26 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gillian W11 contributionsI really enjoyed this visit. Unfollowed by nose so to speak. I don’t feel you needs guide. I asked locals for directions they were very helpful. I didn’t engage in price questions in the more antique part of the market as no prices are shown in the windows so it was to difficult to workout if the prices were in range of affordability. I found that items were either really high quality or bric-a-bark. I just couldn’t work out the level of expected price which I feel was off putting, Getting there was easy and I felt save. I would try the other market in the South next time thoughWritten 13 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MidwestKathMDetroit, MI1,084 contributionsStrolling through the Palais Royale neighborhood, we stopped in to walk through the Galerie Vivienne early one weekday morning. This is a covered mall constructed in 1823. The mosaic tile flooring is exquisite! And signed by the Italian artist...G. Facchina, Mosaicist! A skylight sits overhead. There are interesting shops within...manuscripts and books, home goods, clothing, food, and more. For the photographer, there are interesting shots to be taken!Written 30 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ferg17Rayleigh, UK888 contributionsWe visited here to take in the spectacular views from the Sun Club up on the 7th floor. Couple of glasses of champagne with some small shrimp nibbles set us back €40 but it was money well spent. The veuve clicquot was icy cold as you would expect and didn’t disappoint. Stunning. So good I came back later that day with my teen daughter.
Didn’t do any clothes shopping per se but they had all the major designer labelsWritten 9 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Here you can see the warm atmosphere of the people, buy fresh fruits or taste various foods and enjoy the atmosphereWritten 13 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They have more than just his sculptures of course, but they seem to be the central theme. While they did not offer an audio tour, all the pieces have descriptions by them for you to read. Certainly a must do for Dali lovers, however, I am not sure its a must do for anyone else.
You'll probably spent about 30-45 minutes with ease. Connected to the museum is a small gallery where you can purchase his work or work by other artists inspired by Dali. We went during a weekday and had no problem walking up and purchasing tickets, however, I believe they sell them in advance on-line and that might be worth doing to avoid issues.Written 6 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We went for the pastry and came back with much more. Much nicer market than others we have seen in Paris.Written 21 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - frankuk19215 contributionsIn the city only exist this store at Le Marais, even having been some times and if I return or not, reevaluating the overall experience such as products' diversity, brands, prices, staff attention, place in general, location, food-drinks services, and after a deep analysis about quality over payment, for "Grands Magasins" recently visited, my really objective, honest and reasonable rating perhaps should be 4/5 and could be 3rd in my personal ranking. Sorry if doesn't match the others' criteria.Written 16 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
