Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Danila N.8 contributionsIncredible view! The summit is accessible by two routes by foot and also by train. The mountain is amazing as is the view. Definitely worth the effort!
I also suggest you to go very early in the morning to see the sun rise over AuvergneWritten 30 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the features and information are fun, interesting, interactive and accessible to all. I particularly liked the sensory board to enable people with a visual impairment or disability to fully engage with the experience. Also the small portable stools allow for people to rest while walking around if they need to.
The information and story of Michelin is shown in at least French and English. We visited as a couple but there were lots of children and families visiting too and all children seemed to be really enjoying themselves.
Parking is good, the museum is well laid out and every exhibit was fantastic. To be honest all of the French attractions I have been to have been excellent and reasonable priced, but this is a lovely place to spend a couple of hours. You will come away feeling happy and knowing much more about Michelin past, present and future.Written 25 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The exterior is tall and impressive, and very centrally located. There's a parking garage closeby with easy access on foot. Huge interior with some of the best stained glass windows in France too. The windows at the back of the church show the four horsemen of the apocalypse on one side and the story of Adam and Eve on the other side. Great attention to detail and artistry. Worth a visit.Written 18 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kaynix2014Switzerland150 contributionsGreat hike, mainly gentle climb through forest, so shaded. Stairs down give great views of Puy de Dome. It is forbidden to descend into the crater currently while this is being protected. Park in the Parking des Goules. There is a map of the Puys to help guide you. Trails are well marked.Written 6 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ian MAshbourne, UK551 contributionsVery impressive Romanesque basilica with mainly 12th century architecture over a very impressive earlier crypt. It is a great example of simple beauty without being over-ornate, with a wonderfully peaceful air to it, a great place to sit and contemplate. Well worth a visit and a fabulous contrast to the Gothic splendour of the Cathedrale Notre-Dame nearby in Clermont.Written 1 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Amanda GHuddersfield, UK31 contributionsThis park is so peaceful and beautiful. Very well kept. I just sat and read my book in the sunshine. Very relaxing and a nice walk back into the centre of town.Written 15 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Traveler OWashington DC, DC1,214 contributionsBig open central city square. Easy to access sites from here. There's usually a brocante or market on Sundays and much of the weekend. Park nearby and walk in, or just walk from farther out to access it. Good starting point to see the city.Written 18 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Francois DDubai, United Arab Emirates149 contributionsOne hour and half, it's all you need - although you could spend more time there. The approach is definitely educational and lots of memories have been added. The visit is full of history and I would say that it requires a couple more visits to apprehend the concept and the history.Written 11 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MLOCOKILDARE, IRELAND68 contributionsOur visit here lasted about 2 hours. It is very user friendly especially for wheel chairs. There are some fantastic paintings to be seen even if the artists would not be household names. Admission reasonable but can be free if you buy the 3 day tram and bus pass.Written 12 August 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
