We decided to hop off our tour bus to visit here, not believing it was free entry! An absolute delight strolling along the many paths, the rockeries and ponds seeing wonderful rhododendrons and magnolias in flower and some with buds yet to burst. Tea and cake at the Terrace was lovely with a view over the gardens. Only downside was the glasshouse was closed, but as it was such a warm day, it may have been a blessing in disguise! Well worth the visit - you could spend hours here.
