The lovely river Taff flowing through, historical gardens, historical remains of religious buildings, beautiful trees and nature with of course the wonderful backdrop of the magnificent Cardiff Castle.
A lovely park, well kept, perfect for families, lots of people here yesterday May 1st 2017 also has a lovely little outdoor tea room toasties are lovely and very reasonable, definately worth a vist.

There is plenty to see and admire as you walk along the paths, there is many wooden carvings and sculptures around perfect for getting children back to nature and out of the house.
These woods cover a large area and can bring you out into Castell Coch car park so look at map and take photo to help navigate (or ask the many dog walkers)
