There’s plenty for the guests to explore in quieter moments, to enjoy the views from the battlements or learn about the history of the Castle.

The tours were great, there's so much history at this site going back thousands of years but what made the tours really great was the guide Sam who was thoroughly entertaining throughout and really friendly.
a very informative visit with a chilly walk through the mine itself , staff helpful and polite interesting and from a historical point of view worth the visit

The puzzles and games dotted around the site are enjoyable and there is an air of playfulness and whimsy that the grandson adored.
The tours are cleverly based on age group and offer a completely different view point of the mine.

This has to be one of the loveliest and most magical historic sites, set in a fantastic valley with wonderful walks round the Teifi Pools in the nearby wilderness.
The incorporation of poetry into the abbey site enhances the visit and under a yew tree in the churchyard lies a poet's grave.

There are fascinating displays, with inside views of various types of hives, both man-made and natural, and you could see the bees buzzing in and out.
In view of the plight of our bee populations I would recommend everyone would benefit from visiting this superb attraction.
