Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Alan P1 contributionMarguerite was truly inspirational. Her depth of knowledge combined with her light humour made the experience truly enjoyable. She is a true asset to the city; thankyou.Written 17 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Peter eManchester, UK798 contributionsFair value and great for killing a bit of time - way too many swans.
Commentary ok and a nice way to kill a bit of timeWritten 14 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My partner treated me to this for a special birthday and boy what a day it was. Superb staff, excellent catering and support but the instruction and feedback from the professionals was just amazing. The encouragement and feedback enabled me to go way faster than I ever imagined and the buzz of getting the lines right and getting a personal best top speed at the finish line was just WOW!
Nothing about the day could have been better, even the changeable weather and resultant slippery track just added to the enjoyment so a huge thank you to everyone, staff and volunteers who made the day possible, you are all superstars.
Best wishes, Terry and Jane.Written 10 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I knew before the visit that their houses have been demolished over the years.
Tonight I had a guided walk for nearly 2hrs with Paul from Discover history walking tours. Paul knew his stuff and took me to 2 areas of the city which my family had lived in. The walking tour gave me a picture of where and how they would have lived and the pubs / shops etc they would have frequented. I've been in some of the pubs my forefathers probably would have frequented, so I have enjoyed walking in their footsteps. Paul also told me about the history of the city since the Bronze age and how it had developed / changed over the centuries. He made the history of the city come alive with his breath of knowledge.
The walk was well worth the fee of £7.50. Worcester is a lovely city, which until this visit, I had not been to.Written 15 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are two lakes to choose from with carp and bream in both.
Its not very far from your peg to the car
There are nice clean toilets on site and a cafe, which we personally have not used as has been closed due to Covid.
James and his team visit throughout the day and will gladly take your money at your peg!!!
As we last visited in August/September 2021
I took a bike ride to the lakes yesterday 1/4/22 and during the closed period they have made some of the pegs even more accessible and started to cut back some of the reeds along some areas of the banks👍🏻

Lots of traffic problems meant our driver had to find lots of different routes which he did brilliantly and got us to the airport in plenty of time. We will definitely be using them again.Written 30 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- CandyPaulaWorcester, UK9 contributionsFantastic flight from Worcester racecourse . Our pilot Russel was first class - informative, professional, friendly! Felt completely safe and was worth the wait of actually having the flight go ahead at last! Recommend 100%. - FaburtCardiff, UK118 contributionsWe came upon this by chance when walking around Diglis Lock.Through July and August the Canal and River Trust Charity volunteers are doing free open days at the fish pass and tours of the historic Diglis Island for a nominal fee (free for children, £6.50 for adults). The volunteers are all really knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the fish pass, ecology and conservation issues. So we had some really interesting conversations. We only saw small fish swim through and then go back - presumably a predator was putting them off completing their journey - but you can often see big salmon, eel and sometimes an otter through the glass! And if you don’t see them, they can replay you footage from the live cam! Well worth the trip.Written 3 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Mandy O’BorneBirmingham, UK7 contributionsFrom start to finish an excellent experience. The pilot Russell was helpful and informative. Could not fault the day. We initially had a change of starting point but this I understand was due to covid safety measures. We were advised in advance this was a possibility so we’re able to plan routes to starting point accordingly. I would fully recommend this experience and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.Written 28 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
