- WorldofJoyDerby, UK375 contributionsLovely shop in Tutbury and more people should shop here,Tutbury needs more places like this shop and use it or we will lose lovely shops like thisWritten 19 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kieran J D HillMarlpool, UK64 contributionsWonderful little gem of a church with so much historical value and fantastic architecture!
If you are visiting Tutbury Castle then this little church is a must.
It's really nice to see that this old fashioned church has kept its traditional layout and pews and not "upgraded" like the vast majority of other churches. The tradition is fantastic to experience and really interesting artefacts contained within!
We will definitely be visiting here again!
Thank you 😊Written 11 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Debbie SManchester, UK59 contributionsI last visited about 10 years ago but my other half had never been. As I'm interested in history this is a must visit (in my opinion)
The guy on the entrance/ car park was lovely, so friendly.
When we entered the castle Lesley Smith was just starting her talk (I'm a big fan of hers so that was the icing on the cake for me) explaining some of the exhibits which is sooo informative and interesting even to my other half who is not as interested in history (or Lesley Smith) as i am. You can also get hands on with the exhibits. I'm gutted I didn't manage to get a photo with Lesley Smith as she was busy with other people, but it does give me another reason to visit 😉.
It's not massive but lovely views, lovely informative staff and reasonably priced.Written 9 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Angela HDerby, UK557 contributionsRun by local volunteers who enjoy giving you all the history of the area. Worth a visit for those interested in history small but enjoyable and freeWritten 18 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- DerbyTraveller-2007Derby177 contributionsMy wife and myself called into Tutbury for a stroll round after visiting Sudbury Hall.
We came across Chatterbox Ceramic Café and what a lovely surprise
We were greeted very warmly by Linzi and Kerrie who must have seen the surprised look on our face!! They made us at ease and explained that as well as a café you could also purchase a ceramic piece then paint it and have it fire (this would mean waiting for a couple of weeks) The purchase and painting was not compulsory as you could just have a coffee, tea, etc.
It is great if you need to children entertained and we shall certainly going backWritten 10 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - smileyjo444Derbyshire, UK18 contributionsThis was an absolutely fab night. Reasonably priced drinks and band were amazing. Most tribute bands are great there but these 4 guys were something else .
Family welcoming venue too.

- Gurpreet LDerbyshire, UK41 contributionsGreat cafe offering painting a pot and a coffee, total bliss. This used to be the chatterbox cafe which I absolutely loved as they had a huge range of pots and the ladies were great.
This cafe could be great however my experience wasn’t the best it could have been.
Booked for my mums bday, looking for a little chat along with painting a pot... however I didn’t expect loads of loud chatter from the owner and her friends having a catch up in the cafe. I’m not against having a bit of fun but if your a business you need to look after your customers. We felt a little forgotten about to be honest. There was so much noise from one table... where the owner was sitting along with her friends who just came in for a coffee. When your painting it’s the last thing you want to hear... constant loud laughter and cackling!!
Like I said this cafe has the potential to be great, it just needs some work on customer interaction and attention and not mixing business with pleasure! Also a better bigger range of pots.
Overall disappointed!Written 14 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
