  • The ranking of tours, activities, and experiences available on Tripadvisor is determined by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, the frequency of user clicks, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My first trip to Alton towers, we had a short stay in the Alton towers hotel and visited the golf, water park and cbeebies land
. The hotel itself has great kids entertainment and the staff were very good. I loved our themed room too. The mini golf and waterpark were amazing,.so much fun! Cbeebies land was adorable and my 3 year old daughter loved it. Thr app was very handy to check rides and showtimes. The only negative from the experience was thefood.. we are on flambo jambos buffet and rollercoaster restaurant... Both fun to dine in but food disappointing and very pricey (I'm not a fussy eater!) Besides that we had a great time.

88th birthday trip for my Dad, we both really enjoyed our afternoon. Very informative tour, beautiful countryside and got to be close to the red deer. Highly recommend this tour

Diane was absolutely amazing she took us round and showed us the most beautiful breaktaking views. Also she was very knowledgeable and knew her facts very well. My husband and I were left blown away.

This is a very nice place to dine with a fantastic view! The food we ordered was very good. I will be visiting the restaurant again in two weeks!

I have always loved going to Alton Towers but….The restaurant or rather burger bar places are now extortionately priced, a not really busy day but still tiring, long, boring queues for a 40 second ride, they put the parking up to £10 too. There needs to be more intermediate rides to draw the crowds from the thrill rides. Rides suddenly close for long periods and those who are lucky enough to be able to afford fast tracks are really annoying. Benches in the queues would help so you can sit down every now and then.
