There's lots of history, with the sites of the WW1 training camps, and Prisoner of War camps, the German and Commonwealth Cemeteries and the Katyn Forest memorial.
It's a great place for riding bikes they hold some great Mtb events at the camp site, the park is fab and the vast open fields for the kids to run around in. Cafe is brill always nice food and lots of parking.

There's plenty of parking and the site itself has grown considerably since I last visited more than 10 years ago - the track is twice the length it used to be and the facilities are superb.

We did a treasure hunt around the site which is worth doing and it's nice to walk around the lakes and watch the birdlife including little grebes, goosanders and little egrets.
The area is idyllic and a great place to amble around for a couple of hours and just take in the environment - definitely worth a visit for the views alone.
