The prices are good, and again the staff are welcoming and efficient; there is plenty of seating inside, as well as on the terrace with its lovely views across the gardens.
Visited late September but it was a pleasant day (last day open next Thursday 29/9) Enjoyed the visit from the first awe inspiring view of the hall.

When visiting Eyam I would suggest you visit the museum first and then walk around the village visiting the sites you have just learnt all about.
Parking was easy and we used the 'free' car park which has a lovely view over the village.

A strenuous climb on good paths is rewarded with great views of the Hope Valley and beyond.
It is a great ascent and provides a great view but it is one of the most tiring areas to walk in the Peak District.

Also once you walk up to the area just outside of the church, you get a panoramic view of the area around Bakewell and it's well worth the walk.

We enjoyed a good 2 hours walking the house, gardens & enjoying the on site craft shops.
We also sat up at the children's park, having a picnic , taking in the stunning view, well worth a visit, even more so on a sunny day.

Stayed in Buxton for a few days, came across this lovely place with sheltered forest walks, rolling countryside and a monument that offers spectacular views across Buxton form the top!
The Temple is popular with families, couples and walkers generally so there may be a little wait if you want to ascend, which is well worth it for the superb views!
