Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- cadley13Lancashire115 contributionsThe British Museum is an amazing place to spend a day. There are so many things to look at from around the world. The building itself with its central area and glass roof look stunning.
The museum is free of charge but asks for donation. Please be aware that there are some exhibitions which do require a purchased ticket.
When visiting the museum there are two queues. The best way is to pre-book tickets and join the queue on Great Russell Street. If you don't have a ticket then you need to queue on Montague Place.
Large bags aren't permitted into the museum but there is a shop opposite the museum entrance on Great Russell Street which will store bags for you. I have no idea of capacity and cost for this service or security levels as we didn't use it.Written 7 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. But then you actually get there and you’re blown away by the experience. That’s Borough’s Market in London. Luckily this was first on our list for a Saturday morning (in October). We got there just after 9 am and ended up spending 2-1/2 hours enjoying this public market (with free entry, too). Sooo many food vendors, it seemed to go on for miles. We had an extended breakfast—because we kept running into more places with great stuff to try. It did get more crowded, but we still found room to explore. And besides the food market there were other shopping opportunities—little boutique shops all around. We found more stores (with great prices) as we made our way to the Queen’s Jubilee Walkway. Great morning.Written 4 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Anna-Katharina E3 contributionsWe went for the Dino Snores Experience for Grown Ups and it was simply lovely. All the people working there were really helpful and informative, the food was great and it was just lovely having the museum to ourselves. - AgnesLondon, UK51 contributionsIt’s one of the “musts” in London that deserves frequent visits both for locals and tourists!!!
Partly because there will be special themed exhibits regularly to enhance the value of works and personalities of targeted works or artist!!!
Partly because those residential exhibits are all pieces of master works!!!
Some of them that are frequently mentioned by artists, art critics, and historians and seen on screen have the chances to shine themselves in front of your eyes!!! Say, Jane Gray’s Execution, The Toilet Venus……to just name a few……
I’m totally impressed by them!!!
One-day or one-time visit is not enough!!!
There are eateries within the venue where the prices are not low!!!Written 6 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It has an extensive collection of practical and mechanical arts and does not charge admission. It did not match our tastes but would for visitors with other interests.Written 3 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dominika S1 contributionWe have just returned from a Tour of Parliament. Amazing experience. We paid a bit extra for a guided tour. Our guide Nick was awesome, had great sense of humor, was really entertaining and during the 90 minute tour all in the group were listening to every word, he said. Thanks to the headphones, everyone could hear him clearly and didn't have to rush behind him, it was really comfortable. The tour completely exceeded our expectations and I recommend it. Great experience.Written 2 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- arpitamGurugram (Gurgaon), India1,063 contributionsThe largest cathedral in London opens its doors for one and all. The grandeur of the premises as well as the inner sanctum is magnificent. The cathedral offers admission tickets for various activities. One needs to plan the trip beforehand to enter and spend some time climbing up the dome and enjoy the vista.Written 31 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Fancy the skull of a museum-quality Triceratops? It’s downstairs, for sale among the Rolexes and Piagets. Too expensive? Then perhaps something from the chocolate hall, of which Willie Wonka would be proud. But shopping at Harrods requires a Golden Ticket.Written 26 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
