Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- KayleeParis, France583 contributionsLovely for a stroll and to get some food but very busy. The lines of some vendors get extremely long. Research in advance what you would like.Written 16 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

The Shard is an iconic building in London, known for its distinctive spire and glass facade. This skyscraper is not only part of the city's skyline but also a showcase of modern architectural design and engineering technology. To reach The Shard, take the Tube to London Bridge station, and you'll be just a short walk away. For a scenic approach, consider a river bus. The only thing I will say is that there is 0 point going here and also going to London dungeons. London Dungeons actors, stories, and whole general experience is far far superior and much more immersive. At similar prices I just don't see why you'd need to do both. Also one slight issue in my opinion is, for the jump scare part at the end they make you go in a line with your hand placed on the person in front of you 's back. Now this is clearly for safety as it is very dark and I totally understand the need for this but if you are not in the front third of the line then the jump scare is absolutely pointless as you know exactly when it is coming because you hear the others scream.Written 16 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tourist TurtlesIstanbul, Türkiye113 contributionsThis gallery, home to a variety of unique designs, is a great spot for spending an enjoyable time. We believe that at least two hours are needed to explore the entire museum in detail. However, we feel the interior design could be made more engaging.Written 9 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Resort063414521601 contributionI visited the museum today with two friends. It took us almost an hour and a half as we liked to read all of the information. There is a lot to take in including history, tools of torture, statues, interactive screens, and audio stories/sound effects. It was sometimes a bit cramped, but this didn't ruin the experience. The customer service was excellent and there was a cute gift shop and an opportunity to take a picture which can be downloaded at home. I learned a lot today both interesting and disturbing facts! I would love to visit again.Written 31 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Some_tips_for_yaToronto, Canada33 contributionsIf you’ve been to London before and are looking for something to do beyond the major sights, this small but fascinating museum fits the bill! Learn how medicine was practised from the 1200s through the 1800s - it’s super interesting to see how far we’ve come.Written 31 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AnselmColomGrays Thurrock, UK3,065 contributionsOne of the oldest cathedrals in London and right next to the Thames. Beautiful to visit and walk around and such friendly staff on our way in. A real credit to the place. Obviously plenty of history, large gift shop and beautiful coffee shop which is open air and with views. Visit if at London Bridge.Written 25 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- adscepticUnited Kingdom50 contributionsGreat experience - much more than expected! Thought you were just going to see the ship but you had a chance to really hear about what it was like to sail aboard her. The guides were both knowledgeable and fun which made it enjoyable for everyone. I especially enjoyed learning how to load and fire the canon and am now 100% convinced I would have been an excellent pirate.Written 13 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - zuvBucharest, Romania36,901 contributionsA former wharf, where the ships that brought tea used to anchor, now transformed into a shopping gallery and promenade area. There are several restaurants with beautiful terraces and a fountain/monument with an unusual appearance.Written 27 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ADragonLondon, United Kingdom401 contributionsAmazing show, lovely and reasonably priced bar, interesting venue too. Saw guys and dolls, and everything was perfect: the sound, the performance, the staging. Its a long show but I didn't notice the time at all.Written 15 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SupersupergirlEngland, UK8,501 contributionsCity Hall is a great place to visit.
The building has an interesting yet striking structure.
Inside, the architecture is quite nice but to go in you have to go past security but once you are in you're ok.
Ended up having lunch there as well.Written 23 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Travelaround59London, UK2,033 contributionsNice museum in a hip location in a nice building.
The museum is small but the exhibitions are always interesting and the Biba one was definitely eye opening to understand the designer behind Biba…very nice indeed. I was rather surprised to have to wait because of the “crowds” so maybe next time I will book in advance.Written 9 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
