Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Jackie BCanterbury, UK16 contributionsMy daughter and I had the most amazing Afternoon Tea in the jubilee room, we had an amazing server Esmerelda, she was very warm and friendly, nothing was to much trouble and the other staff were lovely to, the food was lovely and very tasty, just enough....Written 17 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MattclarksonChelsea, UK45 contributionsGreat location in the heart of Mayfair, this old church is now a food outlet place but has retained many of its historic features. The cellar is great for relaxed drinks, the rooftop terrace is small but works and the other floors are a more lively, loud venue with plenty of food choices - steak, Chinese, Tapas, Indian, a few bars too. Pricey but well worth at least 1 visit.Written 11 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Leo PZagreb, Croatia980 contributionsPedestrian street full of shops of luxury brands. - JSSAmberCambridge, UK656 contributionsThis park has better tree cover than most big urban parks, and there are enough intersecting paths that you can really pick your own way through, seeing different things each time. There aren't flowers in the park (despite the photo TA has put up, which is actually a photo of Buckingham Palace gardens), so it feels very easy to walk around without disturbing anything. Free entrance.Written 2 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- knowsnyc610 contributionsWe took a splendid walk with Paul Olins in this neighborhood. He also offers walks through other neighborhoods, as do his fellow Greeters. This is free, but you can treat your greeter to coffee or lunch. Allow 2+ hours.
This service exists in 140 cities worldwide. We saw and learned things we otherwise would not have. He is wonderful.Written 3 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As with previous years, it continues to offer an impressive array of masterpieces, providing visitors with a diverse visual treat, showcasing a vast spectrum of recent art styles and catering to a multitude of artistic tastes. It remains one of our favorite art places to visit every year and this year did not disappoint. To provide you with an idea of what you might see, check out the various images people may have uploaded. If visiting for the first time, please consider buying the small price guide book. Although there are large ones to view in each room, the small one is a good read and quick reference as you walk around.Written 27 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mama S2 contributionsI had a Solo spa day on my birthday a few days ago. I chose back massage and facial, both highly recommended! After that I got to enjoy the sauna and jacuzzi for an hour. I felt super relaxed after. Great customer service too :)Written 16 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - I visited this place🇫🇷🇺🇸🇬🇷🇨đź‡đź‡¬đź‡§Israel35,134 contributionsPROS
* Site of the Beatles last live performance- the one in the rooftop 30 January 1969: there is a blue plaque on the building
CONS
* Now a clothing chain office
“I VISITED THIS PLACE”…
… because I love and live the Beatles music, and that’s continuous for me from 9 February 1964 straight until 22 February 2024.
I had already visited and walked the Abbey Road zebra crossing earlier in that week.
It was a short walk from the circus area known as Pick a dilly.
The nondescript building has a blue plaque describing the historical event that happened on the roof.
I was not the only person visiting this tourist site
WAS IT WORTH THE COST?
It was free
WOULD “I VISIT THIS PLACE” AGAIN?
If I’m near there
ADVICE
As I’ve written before about this place and about Abbey Road, “you either know what this place is or you don’t, it’s as simple as that.” So if you know what it is, then come and see it, and if not – not.Written 22 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is just under half a mile from Green Park tube station on foot. It consists of two premises facing each other on either side of New Bond Street.
Although the Warhol exhibition is primarily for buyers, casual visitors are welcome and I found the staff to be informative and helpful.
The well known pictures of Marilyn Monroe, Chairman Mao and Campbell’s Soup were on show as well as less known work.
I didn’t know about Warhol’s relationship with Pele who he met whilst the great man was playing for New York Cosmos in the late Seventies.
I liked the Pele work and memorabilia very much as well as that of Muhammad Ali.
There was also a great black and white photograph of Nico and Warhol dressed up as Batman and Robin.
The exhibition is free and runs until 7 April 2024.Written 12 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The prices are not for the faint of heart, but where else can you buy a tiara?
All of the vendors were friendly, even if you were just window shopping, and I had a good time.Written 2 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It used to be 'the' embassy location housing both the American and Canadian embassies. There are other notable 'locations' still - house of John Adams, military headquarters of Dwight Eisenhower, tribute to '9-11', War World II victims, and Franklin Roosevelt. There several benches along the parameter which make this a lovely relaxing place on a nice London evening. Sadly during our stay there was a lot of construction at what used to be the US embassy building causing road closures, pedestrian walkway deviations, and noise. It also seems that some of the wealthy that live in this area with their fancy expensive sport cars love to race around the square revving their engines for all to hear. This is unfortunate as this is a lovely place to relax after a long day visiting in LondonWritten 4 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - futtock21London, UK17,143 contributionsFirst time I’ve tried to visit since last summer when, despite signs to the contrary, I was told it was closed. Post-Covid lockdown, however, it was open to all-comers, its windows displaying white T-shirts, white shoes and a white notice announcing closure for lunch between 1 and 2pm. An impressive range of posters in a display beside the entrance door.Written 8 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
