We had a smooth drive out of London to Stonehenge. A cold and windy day but that is what I excepted. Then the return to London was just as smooth. Got back on time. - angieandyliverpool24 contributionsWe had the best time. Debbie was brilliant, even lending me a waterproof coat with a hood. This was a surprise birthday present and I was a bit apprehensive, it’s out of my comfort zone completely. However I had the best time. Apart from it being a bit cold, the tour itself was so much fun. I can’t wait to do it again. Would highly recommend- such a lovely couple who put everyone’s mind at rest. I didn’t get wet at all and felt safe the whole time. The tour was three stops. A medieval market town, a village and then Blenheim Palace with plenty of time to enjoy them all.

Once inside, we were faced with a choice of which direction to take. Gorillas took our fancy.
The gorillas were all resting indoors. A mother lay with her offspring with her rear end pressed up against the glass window. It was a somewhat indecent pose, yet she seemed entirely comfortable displaying her wares.
The tigers must get a mention. A territorial father paced menacingly because his grown-up cubs were a perceived threat. Although the cubs were in a separate section, the father still found their presence entirely unacceptable.
The presenter doing the tiger talk was particularly good. Her knowledge, delivery and presentation style was outstanding.
It was possible to get close to some creatures. The lemurs were not that fussed by visitors, nor was a sleepy giant sloth.
The tropical birds and butterfly house delighted with many rare and exotic species.

Will definitely try the other experience they also have, but this one was amazing, take you all up to the Thames barrier, and stopping at all the historical monument on the way there with all the informative explanation. Friendly staff, Loved it. Sorry can't remember the name of the Captain and Skipper this was on Saturday 22nd march, but they were amazing, I was all jelly like and and still taking in the experience when I left the boat, but amazing staff. A special shout out to our tour guide JJ for engaging passengers with helpful advice and comments throughout the day ( and keeping everyone on schedule) and to driver Brendan for navigating away from traffic.
